I'm guessing this has been suggested before, but I went back a few pages and didn't see it, so I thought I'd suggest it again. 
Drone Upgrades (3x): 5% less CPU use per level for all modules effecting drones.
There aren't a lot of meta drone modules, so you're pretty much stuck with meta 0 or T2s, and both are CPU hogs. |

could do. tho weapon upgrades reduces CPU of weapons, not tracking enhancers, damage mods etc.

t2 version is pretty much a cpu hog on all modules. also in future if you are searching for something posted in the past, try googling and also eve-search.com |

I read the devblog on all the drone changes and skill changes, but i dont remember seeing anything on CPU changes.
Also, Im seriously not liking CCP's obsession with reducing the number of drones you field, yeah sure your doing the same damage, but a drone is a drone. Id prefer to have 5 and lose one, to be dropped down to 80% of my DPS< than to lose one and be dropped to 50% :/ |

They're adding some faction drone modules, but I'd prefer to not have a loot pi+¦ata for my drone boat, thanks. |

well yeah, but its harder to lose that one, so u get 100% dps for longer before a bigger drop instead of several dps drops that start earlier on.

except it doesnt except in 1v1, in small gang, a drone ship woudl be a horrible main-DPS because it could just keep ahvign its drones alpha'd.
not to mention it makes bombers less of a counter to pretty much everything, since they can no longer be an effective counter to massed drones. |

Part of the trade off of drones over other weapon systems is drone by themselves take no PG or CPU. This means you can use the CPU and PG you dint use for your drones to enhance them much easier then you could with other weapon systems and the fact that you have several ships (Ishtar, worm, eos) essentially medium sized ships with enough bandwidth to use 5 sentry/heavies they can already achieve high amounts of DPS at longer ranges then most other ships their class.
I'm going to have to say no for the sake of balance. |
