I'm in a station with mobile lab 4 jumps out. I have Scientific Networking 3 which gives me 5 jump radius for jobs. Ok here is what I did...
open sci & indy tab
Installations
Type Corp
See "mobile lab"
Material Research
1:3 open ME slot
rt click install job
pick blueprint button
Can't see prints in "mobile lab"
only see items in Stations
What is the point of the Scientific Networking if I can't access my mobile labs?
now don't flame me... I've looked and haven't seen anything about this... So, if is stated somewhere please just post the link and let me move on...
If there is no reason for this and it is just an oversite by CCP, please let me know so we can put in a request to get this "feature" fixed.

Well the only way ive been able to use a bp that was stored in the mobile lab is to be at the lab to open the storage and right click on the bp directly.
But the scientific networking is usfull because then you dont need to have the bp in the lab just within 5 jumps(with your skills) at an npc station. The reason its so handy is because even if your POS is destroyed your bpo is still safe and sound at the npc station.

Holy crap, I thought that only worked in the same system. I am totally putting up a small tower for that next time we have some money to burn.

I'm fairly sure mobile labs can only be used with blueprints in system. But you can put them at the station, and research 'remotely' without having to worry about them getting destroyed.

I've only gotten the remote skill to work if the bpo is in the npc station. I too have to be at the lab if it's located directly inside the lab.

imho the lab should show up...
Why? They have their own corporate hangars where the BPOs must reside in to be used.
My issue is that the labs are used by our corp to have lab space where lab space is at a premium.
It just doesn't make sense to us that the obvious oversite in lab access exists. I'll move my request to the correct place.
Hey MOD... can you please either lock this or move it to the game development area of the forums?
