Bienator II wrote:why is there a button for it? can't you just press the portrait? As it can take some time for the character to load, we wanted to make sure people would only be opening the Avatar Viewer if that was what they intended to do, and not opening it by accident when trying to move the portrait window or something like that |

Andreus Ixiris wrote:I again repeat my request for a full answer from CCP - when are you going to give us the racelocked art assets on all characters? Yes, I said when. This needs to happen.
And I've got to echo the words of Apollo Gabriel - why has this blog taken priority over Factional Warfare?
I don't know of everything the art team has planned and I don't know of any plans for race locked art assets for characters at this time, but I'll suggest it to them :)
In regards to this blog taking priority over others...that's not the accurate assumption to make. There are blogs behind this one in line that are about much bigger and more "serious" features, but there are other factors that come into play and blogs aren't published in a descending order of importance in fact. Features that get finished early sometimes get written about earlier too, not always though. Sometimes it's a matter of a healthy rhythm for blogs to come out...and although I'm mostly a follower of the "get it out and announced as soon as it's ready" school of thought, it's not much fun for anybody if for example we would push out all the biggest, most popular blog in the same week, a month prior to release
Then there are even other things. Some devs love to write blogs, some are shy...some I need to put in a headlock etc.

Kamuria wrote:This change is really silly considering It's going to be my 3rd year playing Eve Online and listening to a really bad sound engine full of bugs. Nothing has been done about it in my 3 years of playing.
Have you played Battlefield 3 ? Did you notice the quality of sound and what it brings to the game ?
You put time and effort in the wrong places.

Check it out here! Hi CCP Guard, maybe you can tell me when CCP is going to make good on the following statement that you guys made. CCP wrote:Custom, player made clothing is another major feature. It will be possible for anyone to have a custom made uniform or outfit, but to prevent "visual griefing," the color palette is being kept subdued and realistic. Now that sounds more like it fits the sandbox of EVE, rather than this featureless NEX stuff your pedaling.
A lot has happened recently and this is not something we're working on now or thinking about too heavily as we're more focused on usability improvements and core gameplay. We do have a lot of tech already due to the work on Incarna so it's possible we might work on this in the future. It's just impossible to say at this time. CCP Guard | EVE Community Developer |
