Love the new Session-change timer, as well...!!!
It's a progress bar that slides quickly down, instead of that bloody circle that you had to mouse-over :))) |

I'll tell you what... despite my doubts, the new Raven actually looks pretty sinister... I'd even go so far as to say 'Dangerous', lol... (imagine...)
I like the new evil Cyclops-style (not Cylon-style) cockpit, but I can see a lot of people missing the old-style.
While I'm here... Love the textures on the Talos !! --- I have noticed that on it, and the Naga, some of the lights show right-through the model as you rotate it in the ship viewer.. |

Wow, just wow. Been orbiting a roid for awhile now just admiring the new Nebula, engine trails and ship textures. Really visually impressive.
Also, warp tunnel makes me feel like i stepped through a stargate, which can only ever be an awesome thing.

Nearby stars now appear in the skybox, and stargates point at them. I find myself at a loss for adjectives.
Can someone see if jump drive effects go in the right direction as well, or is it still just random and stupid? |

Test server is buggy as hell but the new warp tunnel and engine trails are so so sexy. I love the new Raven model now that it is textured too.
Also I may be crazy but it seemed to be that something was changed in the Amarr nebula. The other day when I logged off there it was just crazy bright. But today it seems to have more depth to it. Some deeper darks and better cloud effects to go with the brightness. I'm probably just crazy though. |
