That's the problem with some people. No matter how much you give them, they want more and more and more till there is nothing left.
CCP's mistake was in thinking they could satisfy the insatiable.

Calling out 35k (TOONS) - 2/3 are alts, online on average success, is a VERY distorted view of reality.
Which has me wondering, how many players are online in the game YOU made?

My ex-wife is named Brandi (hint, never marry a women who has an 'I' where a 'Y' should be). Therefore you post is invalid.

Then they should stop trying to fly cruisers.
No they shouldn't, because (thanks to teircide) it doesn't take long at all to go from scratch to "I can fly a t2 tanked meta4 gunns cruiser and be useful" . I know because I made an alt specifically for Red Vs Blue and it was like 2-3 weeks tops.

Or just one person trying to make people think that this subject is somehow new and interesting.... Probably alts. Dumbing down games to let incompetents be "awesome" quickly is never a good thing. The classic example was when wizards did it to old school 3.5 D&D on the advice of some marketing whizzkids. The existing player base all moved en masse to Pathfinder and meanwhile the new players they attracted quit when the novelty wore off.
My god dude, that's how ti always happens, everywhere. In games and real life.
The new 'agitators' come in, see things they don't like (while not even trying to question why those things exist or what bad/previously defeated outcomes those existing things are holding at bay) and try to fix things, only to end up with a situation so crappy that NO ONE likes it.
So the people who were there see it's crappy and leave. And the new folks (who were at 1st dancing in the streets) eventually realize that the salutation is now crappy (after the shine wears off like you said) and they to leave. You end up with a ghost town.
I'd rather EVE not become a Ghost town, but it could is CCP keeps thinking 'lets lower the barriers to entry' without understanding that low barriers do not attract sandbox players (which a sandbox game needs to thrive but who are a minority in gaming and humanity in general), they attract themparkers whose sole reason for existing is killing sandbox games lol.

Who is this reply to? It's not me, i'm a PVe player mostly. Unless the new people are Serpentis or Gurista, i'm nto interested.

EVE is one game, not many. No one is against a good new player experience so long as it is within the ethos and spirit of EVE.

This is nonsense.
