Actually I like alt posts.
In the corp & alliance discussion forum, it is often the best way to get infor about current conflicts. Alt posts: we owned you, others reply no you didnt you just did this and that etc. Suddenly we have a flame war, and usually it is possible to get all the info you need by reading between the lines.
Maybe we should have one special forum though, reserved only for people who are in an alliance / non-noob corporation.

Many corps have a rule that you cannot post on these forums in your "colours" as regardless of how much you try to disclaim it, everyone takes your statement as a statement of intent from your corp/alliance.
Until people are mature enough to engage in a lively debaet without taking things out of context for their own ends (will enver happen), alts are necessary.

I disagree. Alts are alts of mains, mains could be intelligent people making relevant points or voicing honest opinions. Alt doesnt always = ****.
Its only because most of the time mains use alts to make stupid and uncontstructive posts that alts get a bad name. But then there are plent of mains using mains doing that anyway.
Big deal if and alt makes a crap post, simply ignore it, thats what i do. Wait for a the mods to get rid of it. But in the end, mains make just as bad posts as alts.
