The remainder of the EMFI shares will be for sale @ IPO price of 10,300 isk / share + brokerfees of the broker you pickfor the next week till Saturday may 20th at 20:00 after which regular trading will commence.
Procedure to follow:
1. Visit the EGSE website in-game. (you may want to go to the in-game channel EGSEx as well.
2. Click on the buy-button next to a broker you trust and follow instructions.
3. Wait for the shares to appear in your wallet.
4. Please post feedback of your trade and on your broker in this thread.
5. For large orders or share swaps (we can buy up your portfolio with EMFI shares and manage it for you) visit channel: EMFI in-game.
NOTE: Currently brokers have to activate their orders still, if you want to purchase some now, EMFI traders will facilitate you till the orders are activated, talk to us in the EGSEx in-game-channel. If you are a broker of EGSEx get online so we can list this IPO

Example:
1- You hold 10 BMBE shares and 200 RDST shares, total value aproximately 750mio.
2- You want to spread your investments and have your portfolio managed
Procedure:
1. evemail your portfolio to EMFi Manager
2. come to EMFI channel in game
3. get an offer for your portfolio in EMFI shares (for example 70,000 - 80,000 shares for the above.
4. accept the offer
5. send your portfolio to EMFI manager
6. receive the EMFI shares in return

nvm , i bought 200 k shares and from discussions with the EMFi manager, and her rigurous grilling of my own operations I can tell that she knows what she's doing.
Wether the fund CAN make a great profit given the current state of IPO's in EVE, still remains to be seen, but if anyone's gonna do it, this is probably just as capable a crew you can whish for, it looks to me.

We do portfolio consolidation as well.. trade your shares in corporations for shares in EMFi spread your risk and have your portfolio automatically managed by experts!

You have a buy-back guarantuee incase you want to sell your shares. The EMFI will set up buy orders at 90% of IPO price, starting 1 week after the IPO finishes.

Mostly because there were two purchases with a long conversation inbetween during which they placed the order and this post. Catleen obviously then edited the post to add the new purchase but, although the outstanding 45 shares were delivered promptly once the isk was transferred, clearly left it at that.

Very interested in buying some shares, perhaps about 100 mill worth, just curious as to what happens after I make a purchase.

EMFI IPO lasts till Saturday 20:00
All brokers have been told to cancel all my sell orders at that time and the price will be determined by marketforces.
EMFI will sell of any remaining shares from its portfolio if it requires more isk in wallet (target is 20% liquid, at the moment we are 50% liquid so won't sell more shares till we reach 20% again after doing investments)
Those shares will be sold @ market prices (minimum 110% NAV)
EMFI won't trade in its own shares from the 12th till the 17th of each month (blackout period) pending dividend payouts.
Any shares of EMFI held in portfolio will be considered investments in EMFI and dividends received from EMFI shares will be considered profits for the next month and will be added to next months dividends. Any profit shares sold from wallet to increase liquidity will be added to next months profits and added to next months dividends as well. EMFI shares will always be valued @ 10.000 isk (face value) in the EMFI books to not artificially boost NAV and/or profits that way.
It looks like it will be a few weeks at least till EMFI sells it shares itself. and at that point probalby only 100-200k shares / week at the most. This will mean that market forces will determine the price after saturday 20:00 when the IPO ends.
If you want to get shares at IPO price buy them in EGSEX or THEEIB in game channels before saturday!
EMFI raised aproximately 50bil in capital and has already acheived 1bil trading profit in the first week of operation using about 15% of our nominal capital. We are already 85% towards our profit goal we have set for the 15th of june.
24h before the end of the IPO I will publish our current portfolio and results.

This is a great idea. I work at a tranfer agency in RL (kind of a like a middle man for Mutual Fund companies) and one of the first things i wondered about when i was looking at the EVE economy was "Wonder why there are no mutual fund companies?". So when someone finally did it, i bought some shares. Super fast service by Jack McFarlane, he sent the shares quick. Good Stuff!

The last 24hours of the IPO has begun, you can buy shares through in the way explained in the top post.
Just a quick financial update on our first week of operations:
We cleared about 1b isk which will be added to the dividends for 15th of june we are already 72% to our result target for 15th of june and with the dividends of our complete portfolio still pending this target will easilly be beat.
Currently we sold 5,215,235 shares for over 52b isk and we will STOP selling share on saturday 20:00 and won't sell any more shares until we have to to increase our liquidity (less then 4b isk in wallet) at market prices with minimum of 110% NAV. In other words, after saturday 20:00 market will determine price. Get some quick before the IPO is over!

ROI of first week at 10-30% of operational strength = 1.09%
