How much has changing the ore sigs to ore anoms affected the depth of gameplay (in respect to no. Of ships built) in wormhole space?
Do you guys think it's affected wh Indy in a bad way? (Pvp isn't the only thing to do remember !)
And before you get mad this is a nul toon. :P

I thought gentlemen's agreement was a wh-alliance... *tips trilby*
also mining was never good in whs, like 3 years ago, before ore yield changes, when abcs were still at least decently profitable, mining still sucked in wormholes, but I'd love to see the ststs myself. Also you should check out bovril borers, I saw them mining in a wh once, ONCE. |

The lower class holes with highsec statics make it perfect for industry without having to worry about having a pos set up in highsec. Or being wardecced, since who the hell knows where Bob will place your next whole. |

Maybe I guess. But hauling in materials is still a PITA, considering the biggest hauler you can get in is an ORCA (which isn't all that mass/cargo efficient). And most POS mods (especially T2 ones) suck compare to station slots.
My guess is the amount of industry being done in WH's is too low to really register to begin with. |

T1 arrays yes. T2 arrays have a nice built in waste factor.
And if you also mine you either have to haul out the ore, refine and bring back in or take a nice hit to refining at the POS. Or just haul all the minerals in. And yes I have a hauler alt so I see how many freighter fulls of minerals heavy duty industrialists contract to the likes of red frog and push. I'd hate trying to haul that into a WH on a regular basis.
Now granted this summer will make all of this very interesting. But historically it has seemed too much trouble.
And yes when i first started out I did a little building in our C1. But before long i realized I can just run XX more sites that day and make more faster. |

I'd be willing to be any amount of money that there's less mining going on now. As for industry? I don't see why it would have any effect since people don't refine at a POS anyway so minerals get hauled in now as they did before. Stuck In Here With Me:-á http://sihwm.blogspot.com.au/ |

I think most of the mining is for polymer reactions, & building spare pvp/pve ships. I really don't see export industry big in wh's. |

Compression arrays may help lower class wh mining quite a bit though. The ****** pos refine however is worthless as always. |

In station, right click a super extra LARGE Badge of ore and it's refined. In a pos, drag and drop several units (depending ore) - wait a hour and half and repeat. What's that with faster? Or we spin the rorqual, burn some fuel to compress, drop it in a Miasmos to go to station to refine and take another type of Kryos to import it again. **** SAKE, 2 type of ships for large scale transport. What a waste in case of efficiency. Though 2 Bestowers or Iterons do the job just as fine...
Best indu you can do in space which isn't taking time is poorly nothing. The other thing is getting it out again with taking care of mass, number of jumps from nowhere to somewhere and so many other factors. Sometimes the ISK is laying there for a while just doing nothing...
Another thing would be the market, w-space best market is Jita and still, it could take time untill other wh'rs pick up the stuff to what they're pleasing, barely a K-spacer will grab the material we're making.
I believe that indu in 0.0 will be thousand times easier then in w-space. .EC.. of [TOHA], Industrialists with guns. We're overe there, some where and no where... Contacting go through ingame convo's .EC.. and [TOHA] are recruiting, get in contact with us |

Hello,
There is a reason CCP does not release some stats. It is usually connected to game immersion and left for players to find out. I have asked CCP to released some stats on wspace but they declined to to various reasons. CSM8 Member Twitter:-á@ChitsaJason Skype: Casparas

the reason is mentioned above: there is nothing to provide. compare to HS/NS production wh industry is less than 0.000000001% |

Wormholes also export PI. Again on a small scale.
Mining in anything other than a HS accessable WH is horrible. |

CCPs idea of immersion is requiring player to look at youtube videos, read eve wiki and make spreadsheets to fully understand the game and its mechanics, so that reasoning is BS.
The answer to the question is quite obvious. Less people mine in wormhole space now and less people in space is a bad thing. CCP should address this concern. +1 |

Two Step was able to get numbers on the amount of POSs killed in each class of wormhole, along with the average number of people on each POS kill. Did they stop giving information out after that? No trolling please |

The dev blog on the industry changes look very promising. Better UI, POS's become more relavent, etc. I may not even need a spreadsheet anymore.
I see a lot of fledgling wormhole corps posting in here and the corp/alliance channel. W-space becoming cool again? |

Changing them to anoms over scannable sigs destroyed WH mining.
It's mostly a mental protection layer being in a site that requires scanning, a good scanner will get you in a single probe sweep anyway, but you need that extra layer to feel kind of safe.
it's going to be interesting to see if people choose to head back out after the next round of barge updates, with the Procurer gaining a drone damage bonus. I've always maintained that it doesn't matter what you do to your barge, it's going to die well before you ever get ecm drones out or kill the attacking Stealth bomber off. Maybe a flight of bonused lights mixed with a properly tanked procurer will be enough to get some people out and mining again.
Or people will ship up to T3's and gangs to take them out... |

And Yet they are more than happy to have system api's that tell you who is most likely living there, how many sleepers have been killed, and number of ships that have gone boom :/
Dat immersion....
