From FE days they were one of the corner corps who stood and fought in contradiction to many of the dead weight corps who lingered there and who have now fled to VOID . Ok I don't want this to come across as a whine or a flame so will be careful with my words as it is not the intent at all, especially as within their ranks there are those I consider EVE friends. BoB have built up since their formation into probably the most formidable military machine that EVE has seen from release date. They have the best equipment through a program of cooperation and the determined aquisition of tech 2 BPOs etc. They also have a huge number of very talented and veteran pvp pilots, names such as Avon, Siddy, TWD, Sforza, Ifni that were stars in their corps and allianes such as Huff, Moo, Ushra Khan and DNA. In other alliances you would have these guys at the top of the military, training up people and leading them on, in BoB there are many like them, all superbly equiped and surrounded by equals. Of course kudos to the BoB leadership for building such an alliance to start with and it is paying off as nothing is more seductive than to be surrounded by peers that are as motivated and wanting to give their all to those that do the same. For example you have ex alliance leaders such as Abrina Overlord (sp) and Pershphanie both motivated people who have demonstrated that they give their all for others, trust me I envy you not getting shot by convos any more . However the recent massive expansion of BoB and absorbtion of endless streams of aforementioned talent will obviously make it harder and harder for BoB to get fights and people to fight them back let alone mount a concerted effort to attack them as a group. If people want to have fights all the time then maybe joining less powerful alliances like FIX, SA, Huzzah etc will satisfy that goal. For example yesterday my alliance was involved in actions against BoB, Adaptus Gattacus (sp), Lokta Volterra, FIX, RAT and more all within our region of Catch and that is a normal day. This morning I log on in V2-vc2, undock and had some fun fighting a FIX guy in local, what more could you want? I don't think this is the end of EVE or that people are cowards joining BoB as they are an agressive alliance, I just see that there seems to be an imbalance forming which appeats to be accelerating. But why concentrate on BoB? D2 has many names that are just as old, lets see if i can pull some out the hat: Commander Woodlouse, Gyro DuAquin(sp), Ryan Routine, Nafri, Phonix. If you really look carefully you'll find people all over the place that have great PvPers, indistrialists, and all the other aspects of the game. Yet it still never ceases to amaze me that people have to concentrate on BoB when they've got their own game to play. Is your game really that boring? (yes, i am talking to Nyphur from ISS whose fan boi application is in teh post, you know when you see him in local there will be yet another crap bob thread spawned, thx for nothing) We get a couple of BS threads started about us each day and why? But if you think you are so good may i suggest go and make you own pvp corp i dare you...However I doubt you got the skill or the time to lead anything since you are much to busy whoring the forum and steal credit from the old school BOB..
