Black Sun Empire - Aakris (sp?) I believe is the track that is featured on the latest eve trailer of awesomeness.
And considering eve has roughly 100,000 subbers, I have a funny feeling the Black Sun Empire's website got a good pillaging by ourselves trying to find the track. (By the way anyone know where I can download it from, since I can't find out from their website now :()

I tried getting it. MY payment has gone through with the website El Berto gave me, although I can't download it. Which makes me somewhat worried, considering most services let you download the song straight away once you've paid for it. But I won't panic till monday or so when an actual business day will pass around.
Just kinda ashame they don't let me download straight away :(

Dont you find it interesting that we all now like that music because we liked the video?
Lets say we would have heard the music somewhere else, like finding it on a file sharing network. I dont think it would have been noticed among the rest of the tunes actually.
Its not that good, but the video makes us think it is.

I think that may be a slighty flawed view tbh. Do you not think that out of 120,000 accounts that none of them had heard BSE before, or in fact didn't like D&B.
I for one prefer to hear things from bands/groups that are not mainstream, they more often than not have a stronger passion for what they do.
As for the track - Arrakis - It's very well put together, if you listent o the whole track is has a good updraft - in that it builds up nicely a couple of times. I think it's better on it's own than with the EVE vid.
Only my opinion of course.

Hmm, the Black Sun Empire - Driving Insane (MP3 Mix) is only 3.51 pound ($6.63 USD, $5.13 EUR or $8.58 AUD). ( Link to online store for BSE: Mix )
Maybe the EVE community could thank these guys for a awesome track by buying a few of these mixes.

Yeah, im sure some of the ones who saw the video recognized the music, but i think they also got a lot of new customers now when it was used in the video. Im basicly saying that those new customers were attracted by the video + music instead of the music on its own.
Its not a bad tune, not at all. Its just not that special.

Well I am the proof of Jim's hypothesis. I liked it cos it was good with the video. Everytime I'll listen to it, I'll no doubt be picturing the video in my head and in my opinion its a good buy.
If music can inspire or help you reflect/remember something then its good music in my opinion.

It's the same as the video that used Beauty Never Fades. I love that song now because the video was so badass. I give massive props to the people who make these EVE videos, and to CCP for just making their game look damn good. I can't wait for the new graphics system. Or maybe I can, because when it comes out, I'm never coming out of my apartment again.
