i have piccies somewhere of me in an Amar titan in YZ-LQL, but i cant seem to find them, but if i do ill put them here, IIRC theres an Armageddon and an Apoc in the shots too so good size ref.

Really? Didn't BoB announce they were building a Titan, and announce what system it's being built in? I haven't seen a huge dread fleet blow it to high hell yet...

Ive read this too unfortunatly it was a couple weeks ago i think and i dont even remmeber its name [the thread]. But i assure you Bob came here boasting about how they are building titans at XXXXXX system and basically inviting people to come down to blow it up. 
Thats BoB for you, don't belive everything they tell you.

Bob has POSes at most moons in NOL-M9 and several have capital shipyards. Theer are other systems in delve with heavily fortified POS formations and capital facilities, but if you really want to know accurately you should survey delve with a covert ops ship.

TFRC is currently working on modifying a fleet of ravens so they could wield an Oblivion class Doomsday device. we currently have some issues with cargo space and fuel, but fear not! our scientists are hard at work

You should probably bolt a freighter to a couple of ravens and use it for cargo room and fuel space.

Also, what about this video I saw about a titan and a fleet blowing it up? Is it just a test server thing? Actually if a Titan can be blown up so easily, are they being overrated?

Correct me if I'm wrong but...
I think there are only 4 corps that sell the BPO (one for each race) and as of right now only one has been sold. A caldarie one if I remember correctly.
So considering this was recently, there can only be one titian in the works, if any.

Not too surprising seeing as they have little practical value.
Yes they have an insane super weapon that will destroy any BS fleet instantly but to be honest no one is ever going to jump into a system with an active Titan around. Due to the extreme skill requirements of the ship you basically need a dedicated character to go with the thing and the moment the first kill mail is landed everyone will know who that character is. After that it's not much trouble to find out where your titan is located at any given time. You'll probably have more use cleaning out high level complexes with the super weapon than wiping out battleship fleets.
The ship has considerable defenses but nothing a sizable BS fleet can't handle and looking at the price tag this means you just don't want it on the frontline. Then there's the Jump Portal that allows the Titan to temporally bridge two systems, enabling normal ships to travel about quickly. Unfortunately this ability has a maximum range of 3.5 light-years which isn't a lot and factoring in you'll have a stuck Titan for 10 minutes you're probably better off moving your fleet the conventional way. Its corporate hangar and maintenance bay are of considerable size, but paying 60bil for a freighter that can jump is just silly. The cloning bay facility is interesting but again, not worth the 60bil.
So unless you want to build a Titan for prestige there's probably a lot better things to invest in.

So i guess it's pretty much as i predicted last year,too costly/long to build and not good enough for what it needs to be...The fact that it can't be docked or insured just adds more reasons not to bother with them too...
Though i'm sure someone will train for them,even if it's only used on the test server...

Correct, except that it is a gallente one :) As well there has been at least 1 Nyx BPO sold (i guess more in the area of 3-4), 1 Aeon BPO (should be pretty accurate), 1 Wyvern BPO. No Super Capital minmatar BPO has been bought yet (who wants that slave crap anyway :D)

At this point,i think it makes way more sense to build motherships than titans for the very sinple fact that you can build at least 7~8 of them for the cost of a single titan,get jump drive capability,be able to launch up to 200 fighters ,and the combined maintenance bays of all 8 of them can also carry roughly 20 BS's,and still have plenty of room for many more BC's/cruisers/destroyers.... So a pretty large assault fleet can be deployed very quickly within hours of a war declaration.
Throw in a few dreads into that mix and you're certain to be able to handle pretty much anything that comes your way...Assuming the server doesn't get killed from all the resulting lag..

There was a player on the test server flying a titan - specifically, a leviathan - the last time SiSi was up; it was not a dev, GM, BH, or ISD member. It's unknown if he actually has one on TQ, however. IIRC, it was an SE member.
