Quick question. If you filtered out the words "Lottery" or "Win xxx", would there be any actual events posted here??

well, there are events going on all the time - here and there. Just seems no one wants to post the ongoing events here... shame :(

I have noticed the same lack of real event postings,all I ever see are lotto "events".Not to say that you shouldn't be allowed to post about lotto's.I had just hoped to find more events like the racing league and the guys talking about how to set up a rally race.

yeah it seems events happen quite often but only the events channel seems to be the location of any info ingame its not normally post in the forums

Events usually are run using in-game channel. You don't see many event threads in this part of the forums anymore

If its a *massive* event you usualy hear about it in game and manage to get to it before its over like the Titan event. Unfortunatly CCP dont give much prior warning to where their official events take place but there are plently of well run player RP events such as the racing legue and others.
I agree that there are far too many Lotterys filling up this part of the forums.
