Pirate's name: LaneHacker
I want to warn you all of a pirate that was harring me and my friends in Funtanainen/Lonetrek this morning (cet).
I entered space out off current station and immedeatly a threat popped up, but since I don't know this player for being a threat I went on mining. After a while he approach me in the asteroid belt and starting orbitting at a 5 km distance. He invited me to a private chat session:

[ 2003.09.21 02:01:40 ] Sweriskakka > Sorry but no. I am mining here. Do you want any of the ore? I can give you some Pyro instead? [ 2003.09.21 02:01:58 ] LaneHacker > Wrong choice. [ 2003.09.21 02:02:08 ] Sweriskakka > Well. Its your choice. I dont care [ 2003.09.21 02:02:20 ] LaneHacker > 100k is nothing for a person mining in a Thorax [ 2003.09.21 02:02:49 ] Sweriskakka > Hm. You are looking for trouble? Sounds strange to me. Its better to be nice to one another [ 2003.09.21 02:03:01 ] LaneHacker > I will systematically target you and your corp mates for your actions here. Have a nice day. Needless to say that he was hiding behind the police when someone finally tried to blast him out of the sky.

Quote: Hi
Well I'm glad that a GM took action and gave you a warning for the verbal assault that took place on the public chat channel today. It was completey unacceptable.
I would love to post the comments that were said by you but I shall not for a simple fact that children read these forums aswell.
One last thing, before you go and make any more threads about how terrible I am, I suggest you read the following:
Pray Miner
Oh and you were only friendly for the first 2-3 minutes, after leaving the private chat channel you were anything but friendly.
Hm. You are talking about the conversation we had? Like that is the problem here? You and your pirating is the subject here. The chat logs is just the way I would like to use to expose you and your behavior. Strange fella you are.

First of all I wish to thank all the players that supported me and in this matter. You have really triggered me to continue my subscription and to view the game play from another perspective.
My corporation have encouraged me to play a more passive role in this matter and I will not continue along The Path of Aggression, nor here or InGame.
This has opened up for a raise in attention for several players and corporations to increse their use of Secure Containers (if I only could get the pwrds to funtion properly) and other counter meassures to prevent ore thiefs.
Some users have asked if "all threads have to about ore thiefs". My reply to that is that I rarely use the forums since I've never encountered such things before. I think of the forums to get A's to Q's and to warn other players such as myself.

Quote: So you're telling us that people using Thoraxes, or any other type of Cruiser, or even a Battleship to mine in high-sec space don't have much ISK?
Likewise, gobbling up all the Ore in newbie space is considerably worse than taking it from "experienced" players.
Not every human being that drives a Ferrari has millions in their bank account.
Secondly. Why risk being attacked in low security areas when one can earn a living of mining in safer areas?

No need to continue to play a game one doesn't like. Idiots are everywhere. Why look'em up in cyperspace when you can find them nextdoor?

Yeah, true...you were stupid enough to open fire in an area with Sentry Guns deployed, so that does kinda make you an idiot, right?
No, actually it was a well planned situation where I was suppose to end up as an ice cream floating around outside my old station. The one I fired upon was one of my fellow corpmembers. But what the heck? Why am I still around?
