Media Payer on PLAY.COM
of course it so expensive as it has a 4gb HDD built into it, you can pick up "superpass" ones whih siimply make use of flash memory in SD card format (and thusly they go for about ú40, a lot more affordable on eBay)

You dont need to buy the Nintendo DS WiFi dongle if you have an existing wireless network.
Though I had to drop my WiFi AP from WPA-PSK to unencrypted (though hidden and MAC locked) in order to get the DS to talk to it.
Running around other people's towns in Animal Crossing is mad.

the problem i had with mine, was that even though my DHCP was set to auto-assign, which it does for the 4 PCs that are connected to it, two wired and two wireless. the DS simply could assign itself an IP, which i had to do manually which isnt really difficult but if youve just bought a wireless router for the purpose of playing DS wifi, might be a little confusing.
although, i have two friends who have DS' and wireless routers and theyve been fine, i dont know how theyre configured though.
*BTW* side note, incase people were wondering, the DS does actually support WEP encryption and non-broadcasting SSIDs, but usually with MAC blocking and no SSID broadcast WEP encryption isnt really needed. with me anyway.

I've got Animal Crossing and Mario Kart but the only time i've played online was Mario Kart in an airport. Then the battery ran out. God damnit.
I'm getting a wireless router at some point fairly soon as I'm getting a laptop. At last I'll be able to play Animal Crossing online and make some serious bells on it.

Edited by: Jacob ocho on 23/05/2006 22:23:57 I've got animal crossing, I'd be happy to eve-mail my friend code to you, I gave up on the ac forums as no-one seems to read them or bother replying to your posts. I'm in the UK btw, for times etc. I plan on getting metroid at some point aswell. I just need to perfect my isk to real money machine then I'll be rich :)
And yes, it is weird, but you just want to keep playing for some reason..
