Well I'm new to eve but I already wanna work towords my Megathron. Haven't seen any PvP build's yet (for megathron). So what would you guys suggest I should start learning? I'm thinking about using drones (I like the playstyle). Also I wanna know what kind of weapons I should start learning, Don't really have much experience yet so I really don't know what the Megathron fits best.

So I presume railgun's are the best for a newbie?
Also, any specific skill that I should learn (after the learning skills, already training those.. ;))
Another thing, Is it wise to also learn missile stuff, when I'm also trying to specialize in drone's? Or should I just go for main weapon (blaster/railgun) + drones?

I can't even use a Megathron, So no need selling it ;-) Why should I get a Dominix? Is it a better ship?

Mmmmmm, What's the best allround ship? It's really hard to make a choice. They both need other skills right? dominix more for tanking and the Megathron not. Right? So I should start specializing for Dominix OR Megathron, correct?

Alright, well If I want to be the best allround ship, and use drones.. Should I got megathron or dominix? are megathron's ANY good with drones? or is it just a really really bad choice to put drones in a megathron? YARRRR!!

Really nice post, thanks. Another question tho. I went for a Gallante Drone setup (I selected this in the character selection screen), will It hurt me If I change my setup now? Just ignore the drones and go for a full damage build (railguns and missiles right?) Or will this hurt me in the longrun?

Ye I'm doing all my learning skills now, It's gonna take a while tho (2months or something =.=) So it doesn't really mather I went for the drone setup, well that that's good to hear. Prolly go for a megathron build than, think that suit's me best

It won't necessarily take that long. I've only been playing for two months and I'm on the verge of getting my first battleship. I could fly one now, but it would be tech 1 fitted, so I'm waiting for a few skills to finish.
If you want the big bucks early on (in order to buy a battleship two months into the game, for example  ) then I recommend mining in 0.0 space. You'll need to join a corporation based in 0.0 first, though, and be sure that they can give you adequate protection from roaming pirates and enemies.
Ye that's true, But I don't wanna buy a battleship before I can use it for it's full potential

The largest (not counting the XL blaster type) blaster turret's optimal range is 7.200 km, without skills applied. With relative good skills it hits up to 20 km, but your damage is going to be pretty crap at that range. And if you intend to us its full damage potential, you will be operating at -+10 km, wich leaves you vulnerable to warp scramblers, webifiers, nosferatus and all that crap. SO yeah, its pretty close. 
Hehe, Compared to other types of weapons it's close. Right?

I mean till I can actually use good weapons/shields etc, not till I have learned everything. That will take me what.. 4 years?

Mm, What should I start learning first? hull upgrades? Hybrid turrets? Drones? Should I also start training thing's like burstfire/targeting/afterburners? Or are they not really needed yet?
