Corporation Wallet - Journal/Transactions - linkable text
Rather than plain text there should be links in here.
e.g. If I read :
"Mission reward bonus from agent XXX to YYY"
Then XXX and YYY should be links to the agent and pilot Info windows.
items refered to - same again - it should link to the item's info window.
loctions refer to - same again - it should link to the item's info window.
Same again for "My Wallet".
Transactions - many columns could contain linkable text : Type, Client, Where.

At the login screen :
a) the login & password fields are ~ 4/5 of the way down the screen
b) 'Eve online Crucible' is 1/2 way down.
c) The advert is 1/2 way down.
d) The 'Logging In' progress bar box appears 1/2 way down.
So more of these are visible for more of the time change to something like :
a) as is
b) as is
c) midway between (a) and (b)
d) 1/5 of the way down |

Overview & Ship info.
To a new player the number of different types of ships is overwellming.
The overview is not helpful in this respect as it displays the 'racial type' rather than the base type.
i.e as well as stating 'Claw' it should also be able to display 'Interceptor' , and even 'Minmatar' to those that want to see this.
Perhaps rather than the text 'Minmatar' one column could apear in the racial color.

Overview tabs limit.
Presumably the limit of 5 is for performance reasons ?
i.e. the game is constantly refreshing all 5 ?
How about allowing 10 tabs but only keep the last 4 viewed (initially the first 4 from the left) refreshed. |

When a bookmark is created have a stab at giving it a sensible default name.
It won't be precisely what everyone wants but it will be a start one can edit from.
e.g.
"BM {nearest fixed body} : {angle to the horizontal} - {distance away}"

The Eve pilot namespace is heavily reserved by unsubscribed accounts.
Presumably Dust 514 character names will also have to coexist in this namespace.
I can understand not deleting unsubscribed accounts as they might re-subscribe, but how about one or more of :
(1) Trial accounts never subscribed :
After 6 months mark the pilot names as 'vunerable'.
If a new pilot is created and a 'vunerable' name is requested then the new pilot gets the name and the old pilot's name is flagged as requiring a new name choice when/if they re-subscribe.
(2) Accounts formerly with a paid subscription. If pilot has less than 3 mil SP :
as per (1) except "After 2 years mark the pilot names as 'vunerable'. ...."

Skill Points ABC
Clone XYZ
If the clone is not sufficient to protect the skill points then display the clone in red.

Storyline mission count downs & warning pre accepting a mission of a different level.
Another one of those obscure arcane knowledge things seemingly there to trip up and discourage new subscribers while established players who are in 'the know' know how to track is when to expect the next storyline mission.
Present the storyline mission count downs within the UI.
Say add another tab to the Journal.
Present a warning dialog -
This mission is of a different level to the previous mission(s) that you have accepted from this faction.
If you accept this then it will reset your storyline countdown for this faction.
'Are you sure you want to accept this mission ?'

Some names, I'm thinking station names mainly, are very long and as a result setting the Overview columns to a sensible width truncates them.
Have a more restrictive name length policy (if there is one !) with regard to names and change (e.g. abbreviate) any that currently want to violate a reasonably generous Overview column width setting.
Or maybe for station names have two versions, a brief one for the overview and the current verbose one for Info dialogs etc.
e.g.
Misneden IV - Moon 2 - Federation Customs Testing Facilities
abbreviated version for overview :
P4-M2-FCTF
Obviously if there are to long and a short station names any search boxes will need to find on either. |

Those doing PI in low sec and null sec gain access, and lower taxes, the better their standing is to the owner of the customs office.
Whereas those doing PI in hisec pay the same customs office taxes whether their standings to the faction in whose space they are doing PI is -2 or +10.
This is wrong .
The higher the persons faction standing in hisec the lower the tax rate should be.
From an RP perspective those with the higher standing have contributed more to cost of maintaining security in hisec. |

Shake up the station storage UI.
i.e. 'Items', 'Ships' & station containers.
Instead of these present this information as one window containing a treeview on the left of purchased station containers and a listview on the right of items within the currently selected container.
Where these 'station container' nodes can also contain ships. |

IGÇÖm not really an RPer. My final RP comment was a bit of an after thought & your point is currently correct. However if the above is the only objection then hand over those POCOs to a corp in each of the different hisec factions.
The main thought behind my suggestion is that there should be more incentives for people to be more evenly distributed in the hisec faction that they back.
Currently there are a lot of incentives for people in hisec to clump together e.g. access to Jita - Caldari faction & at low trading costs - Caldari Navy. Furthermore this clumping builds on itself GÇô newbie starts playing & his mate is already playing in Caldari space or suggests good access to Jita is useful ...
This change would make PI more profitable in the less popular faction areas as depletion would be slower.
The current lopsidedness is not helpful to other aspects of the game e.g. faction warfare - hands up how many pilots want to join the Galentte side and loose access to Jita ? |

How about the option of a reduced subscription fee with the trade off of no additional SP while in this reduced mode ?
People might be tempted by this to have more accounts.
Perhaps only offer this on additional accounts linked to a 'main' fully subscribed account. |

I agree there is a problem here.
When I sit back I can not see the difference between the yellow highlighted gates and the other white gates.
I have had an eye test recently - not glasses required and no colour/color blindness.

If I'm following a route through hisec I want to be able to sit back and click through the planned route gates while I watch the TV at the same time please. |

One can change the Escape dialog Video options to have Eve not on the primary display e.g. a second screen however the initial splash screen ignores this selection and still pops up on the primary screen.
Please make the splash screen appear on the requested screen.
