Dollas	Posted - 2006.05.18 01:40:00 - [7] Bleh, graphics look good, however I don't see anything else worthwhile in that game. Just seems like some rehashed attempt to make money off the CnC franchise. Add to that it is being made by EA... Looks like the same build n rush game with little changes but spiffy new graphics. Now Supreme Commander looks exciting, especially from reading all the interviews.

Jon Engel	Posted - 2006.05.18 13:50:00 - [19] C&C generals has the best modding community around. Trie some of the mods for the game. It realy makes you get back into it sometimes. Also I think if they redo C&C they need to bring back Yuri.

But I'm guessing it going to be more along the lines of base vs base style of RTS. (Which I am also looking forward to). So the way I see it, it's not sup com Vs C&C3 it more like we are going to get 2 great RTS games (as long as EA don't do an "EA" on C&C3)

The developer has specifically stated multiple times that he plans on including a good story/plot/single player with supreme commander unlike in the original TA. If you check the SC site, you will find the story line is already far more detailed than that of TA, ingame or in its manual. The rest of your post is correct though and I agree :). Except we all know EA is gonna mess this game up like usual.
