According to some friends of mine (not sure if they were high on quafe ultra at the time) there should be a "Black Monolith" somewhere in one of the systems.
Its referred to also in the movie: 2001 A Space oddysee.
Anyone happen to know where it is?

I've seen the black monolith in Nakredge {sp} in 0.6 Empire. I was on a deadspace mission from an agent at the time. If you click on the info, it just says "It's full of stars."
I got out quick in case my nav comp decided to do a Hal on me.

There are a few ( i have seen 3) around....but they dont show up normally, i believe, on overview...(maybe im wrong here). The ones I have seen I found while moving my mouse over gas clouds....
Been awhile since I have seen one though so probably my info is a little fuzzy

I've seen several Monoliths, when I was running L1 & L2 deadspace missions in Minmatar space.
I've no idea if it was typical to the regions or not... however it's the only place I've run across them. (Wasn't lookig for them, either)

My corp name is a homage to these objects. I did not know I could find one in game though. Now I just need a hauler big enough.....

Long time since i been there, but there was one in orbit Alenia III - Moon1 in Verge Vendor.

I dont know abot them apearing in deadspace missions but there is one in the dead end system at one of the moons.

Visit the one in Dead End, then you can visit the Eve Gate while you are down that way 
Nice little sight-seeing tour down that neck of the woods.

Take a look at the Postcards section of E-ON #1, you'll see a Black Monolith there.
I stumbled across it while running a deadspace mission.
