which one. the deimos or the ishtur.
most likly going for npcers in battleships- other hacs.
and not uncluding the factor of the price. So in hands down what would you choose if price wasnt in the equation.
I was thinking deimos.( flying a thorax atm training up to have it tech 2 fitted. then going to start training to deimos after I get my adv learning skills to 4.
I figure if I learn the pros and cons of the thorax tech 1 -named fitted then I can be more prepared for tech 2 fitted and maybe someday Hac ready.
ya I made my bankroll all from pirating never mind for more than 1 hour in my whole career and only kills rats if Im chilling at top belt waiting for a npcer. almost to sec stat and im barely 3 months old. but made around 100-150 mill within that time. and lost a few ships the first 4 losses were lessons I consider and the other 3 were ganks by other pirates and anti pirates.
I was thinking on the deimos if I can fitted is using 4 med blasters mixed ions and electrons and a best medium nos.
for lows was going to put a damage mod and a 800 plate and a cap relay and of course the mar 2 and 2 enerigized platings. 1 adaptive 1 for my lowest resitance for armor.
and of the course the normal medium pirate slots.
was wondering what would you suggest for solo pirating mostly belts hunting battleships other hacs npcing and haulers- freighters at gates and whatknot.

was also wondering is dominix worth using to pirate particulary solo pirate or ganking pirating.
was thinking Nos drones jamming tank = guranteed win 1vs1 :( dont IT?!

Deimos = instadeath @ < 10k.
Ishtar = OMGWTFTANK!! + 5/5/5 slot layout, makes for an astounding repertoire of setups.
Dominix = butt ugly, but the Ishtar's big brother.
Thorax to deimos is a logical progression, and also means you're used to fighting at close range.
I don't care what anyone says. NEVER mix ions and electrons. EVER! Arse about with some setups against an alt and you'll see my point. If you're soloing, you may want to put a stab or two on your uninsurable behemoth.
Check this thread for some other Deimos setups (post RMR).

not caring about the price what would be the Ideal gallente solo hac.
and also is dominix any good?

Unless you're really really good you'll have a hard time earning cash from that, simply because the Deimos is so expensive to replace and any battleship setup correctly in the hands of a semi-competent pilot will be able to kill you.

It depends on you drone skills. If you have great drone skills then the Dominix is unbeatable. A nossing Dominix with 5 Ogre IIs pwns any HAC.
If you have great gunnery skills then the Deimos is the boat to go for. Just hope you don't come up against a nossing Dominix flown by someone with great drone skills cause then you will be in your pod.

any hac that is being nossed is dead tbh unless your a nossing hac that can keep your cap up?!
but i would say the deimos cos it is awesome.

I'll kill a deimos in my prophecy more often than not.
If you want to pirate and have good skills go for a brutix. Blasters and a cap injector and you will kill almost any hac.
Alternatively, the domi is king at the moment.

i'm just going to say... don't fly what you can't afford...
if you are only rolling around on like 200 mil, i don't think hacs are a wise investment for you.
if you are looking to upgrade, but don't have battleship skills yet, try out a brutix, those things are sick

Yeah it's a tough one to answer. Domi is awesome if you have good drone skills and very cheap if you loose one. Deimos is an amazing dmg dealer but nos=death just like most hacs. hacs are also more agile and can get out of a tight spot a lot easier than a domi.
It all depends on skills. If you have good drone skills i'd say go ishtar cos it's awesome for solo. deimos i would say is better in groups or if you have good gunnery skills.
Nos,Jam,Drone Domi tho is probably the most fearsome bs 1v1 imo

I can attest that the Ishtar is quite an effective pirating ship. Large DPS and lots of ewar, probably hardly even need a tank really but I'm sure you could fit one.
