I don't think they will use this thread for ideas, I think they will either use region names not used in the original brainstorming session which I imagine they had, or have another session (would be too fun not to.)
Anyway, here's the 8 likeliest choices I could think of:

Solace
Promised Land
Exile
Epoch
Flux
Umbra
Maelstrom
If NONE of these are used, I will be disappointed.

Ok here's a slightly random idea, it may have been posted in this thread already but tbh i cant be arsed looking at all the names,
How about making it so that once an alliance has claimed a region, say established a selected number of outposts(5) and clamed systems with pos's (20) in a region they then get the chance to name the region, or it could be done on a smaller scale and claim constalations and name them, once you own all the constalations you get to name the region.
Just an idea.
