I'm trying to figure out why there are player buy orders in the game for corpses. Not for specific corpses, that I could understand. But I've seen 20k ea buy orders for any corpses ya got.
What are they good for?

People pay good ISK for "trophies" they didn't kill?
Darn this game is weird sometimes.

Jenny, that part I understand. It's paying for the corpse of A_Random_Newbie_01 that I was/am puzzled buy. Putting in a buy order at Jita for 10k corpses.
Still having a WTF moment over that.

No. ;-)
Since every pilot should stick to hard liquor stocked at every station they have ever visited. Or, to own brew in some back-country Matar station right next to Domain. :)

What I find fasinating about the EVE economy is that a pack of sigs costs 50+ isk, but a high tech futuristic motorcycle is only 4000 isk! Now if only in the real world I could buy exotic dancers for 10 isk... or my own marine forces. ___________________________________________

Dark Shikari is currently the most well known forum *****. He's not bad in PvP either I hear.

Roleplay purposes? Maybe placing an Amarr corpse and some spirits/drugs/dancers in a container in their space with a big sign on it saying "Corpse Desecration in Progress."
I know that is why I collect Amarr corpses...

Don't you know, you have to say his name three times in a row, not just three times in a thread.

Some sort of wierd investment?
Buying corpses from newbies at 20k/corpse in the hope that some of them one day will become nefarious pirate or foe of someone that people will pay a lot of money to have a trophy of?

I have not figured out a way to sell corpses yet because you cannot repackage them. There are some high buy orders for corpses, but there is no way to sell them. Does anyone know how to repackage and sell them?

I doubt that.
My corpse is a dime a dozen. I've podjumped so many times that there must be a few hundred of my corpse out there

To be honest, 10-20k is not even money. You can make those sums in less than 10 seconds even in high sec.
Griefing is to ruin a friendly game, which Eve is not. |
