My corp mate and I were talking about this, what if we had the ability to change the colors on the character selection screen? This would benefit by letting us customize the colors of CS and have a more personal "feel" like the client was our own unique client.
You know how we are able to change the color scheme of the UI in game? I would like the ability to change the color of the UI in the CS screen.

Honestly, what I'd love most is being able to select a backdrop (and associated color scheme) from all the prior expansions to EVE. I *loved* the one with the Amarr cruiser in whatever expansion turret models were added (the one that warped in, aligned, and started firing beams at an unseen target as the turrets tracked it). |

I'd like that too. Maybe with each background, there should be a preset color. So we wouldn't have to burn our eyes while looking at the character select screen because of the colors that we've chosen.

Funny enough, it was a Sacrilege, a missile boat, shooting lasers lol
Still, it was one of the best that I've seen :) |

I was pretty sure it was a Maller variant, but I couldn't remember which one (the Sac, or one of the naval ones we don't have access to). I was also totally unsure as to whether the Sac had had its bonuses changed, and didn't want to sound like a noob >.> |

I know, but if we add on the option to roll back the background and colors of previous expansions, it would be more of a unique client. I can see with each new roll out of expansions, it would cause a problem to change the background every time.

the selection screen has long changed with the expansion. color being a major change. I'm not sure I need the color to change at my whim.

This. I like the themed CS screen for all of the 3 seconds I see it for.
