Well... tell me one thing. If ERA really was intending to fight or even to help OSS... why the hell did KIA then Jump to IMK on friday with a Carrier and a Dread to get their Assets out?
That much about complaining of didnt had the chance to get your Assets out.
that was IMK .. most likely that was to grab what the could so we could regroup in h-w/d7 for a response the following day

Raeff, the attack started on Thursday, we gave up sov on saturday.
TBH, I was out of game for the majority of that. If I had been in perhaps more people would have been directly notified. Responsibility of that I will take, rl (isp actually) got in the way. Our online HC tried to put it out locally what was about to happen, and he asked for any pilot online to notify their corps.
finger pointing sucks, the facts are:
1. We were the administrators of OSS North, not it's primary defense.
2. ERA was primary defense of the region.
3. D2 came fast and hard with a fleet we could not overcome.
That's what happened. Things happen that are everyone's fault and no-ones fault at the same time. This is the case imho. I have no problem saying that ERA tried, what I have a problem with is everyone trying to shift the blame for losing tribute to CHSN. You're scapegoating us in an attempt to not have to take any of the responsibility for losing tribute yourselves.
im not saying we wouldnt have lost it .. i'm saying you didnt give us an oportunity to defend it .. many of us lost every fighting ship we had in the game that we had brought up in prep to defend it! .. IMK was lost by a surprise attack that couldnt have been stopped .. you handed hw and d7 to them not 36 hours later without a fight

Originally by: Magnus Thermopyle Most of ERA and OSS left tribute over a week ago, even using capital ships to jump stuff out. Does that sound like an alliance thats prepared to defend their homes?
No, it sound exactly like it was: two alliances leaving a region for good. I hope ERA & OSS got a good deal out of this somehow, because no one will trust them after this.
With this in mind, we did the best thing of the situation, surrendering to D2 to get some time to get our stuff out (thanks to D2 for letting us do that btw).
got weed? dude wtf are you talking about

its called a surprise attack for a reason, and it couldnt have caught us more off guard than it did with alot of our leaders and pilots away for various reasons .. luck was on D2s side
shy im not gonna argue anymore, it hurts to much .. just dont expect us to get over it anytime soon k

so many stories floating around and only a few hold any truth .. most of you guys have no clue at all .. going on rumors is not smart

Edited by: Raeff on 22/05/2006 20:32:05 after reading alot, i have to agree now there was a communication breakdown somewhere .. too many stories that differ way to much
too many leaders gone at once i guess
still sorting through the murky water though .. ignoring the unimpressive d2 comments
..and to whoever mentioned taking the station back in hw .. hard to do when its bugged and the GMs seem to be ignoring us ..shoulda heard some of the replies(atleast it was when i went to bed last night)

You are right Raeff, I was out of line and I am sorry. I suppose his post might have been a result of anger but I am not going to stand by while certain people try to trash my corp and use threats of violence against it, but mine was in anger and reaction to his post. Most of your pilots are great guys and good pilots and Ihave alot of respect for them but there are certain individuals that can make me forget that from time to time.
agreed 100%
this isnt a time for bickering amongst our corps .. we go back to far and i truely want to mend what has happened
whats said is said and whats done is done
