Kudos for Hardin for making this topic, congratulating opponents, and admitting the error of underestimation.
Well done x13 and CF also. _______________________________________

Heh, with such an expensive ship, I woulda thought you CVA chaps would have atleast made a little bit of effort and fitted T2 Cap rechargers instead of Named ones.
(Not that it would have made a difference or anything I guess.) -----

I thought that logoff tactics such as those employed by x13 were classed as an exploit?
Petition it, get yer carrier back and get the whole of x13 and Comic Fusion (deliberate typo) banned
now THAT would be funny

It would be an exploit but CCP cant control when and where you log off.
Using tactics like this are very lame and I just lost what little respect for x13 I might have had. If I lost the carrier I would sure as feck petition it because X13 themselves admitted they purposefully logged off to make this happen.

Being in local for 15-20 minutes before the strike should be enough to warn the wary...
But well, I like the fact that it's not CVA who's complaining about this... Cheers to you guys for the nice fights :)

Carriers are cheap tools.
Gettings such a gang logged off for days just to kill one sounds pathetic to me. Add that using loggin/loggoff mechanisms isnt a glory trap but a lame trap.
Btw, moros + heavy drones vs BS's = w1n.

I really cant see the lameness of teamwork?! Speaking for my self, I came to the system just the day before, we was sure that the pos was to be attacked on sunday - but CVA was faster than exspected, and the show started on saturday. I know for a fact that most of us came to the system just the day before. Here comes the teamwork: We had a phone chain for the gang obs, and everybody began calling around when the pos was attacked. Well, we only managed to get hold on half the force we where expected to use on sunday, and therefore was a little unsure of the outcome, but we knew we would take down atleast one capital ship. Everybody began to log in, and after 10 minutes we all joined up on af common safespot and the gang aligned. We wated 5 more minutes, to be sure the capital ships where en siege (no escape) and then warped in and attacked. The rest af common knowledge. If you call this lame tacs, then you got something wrong .

First of all, you should read the thread. We wasnt logged of for days as CVA said - thats a lie.
Second of all, we had our spies in system, we had a couple of members in system. CVA knew our covert was there etc etc.
When we was on the testserver testing stuff, we was alerted and logged in, now? is this an offence?
We got the carrier, CVA reckonised this as beeing good sports as they are.
When we logged in, we had 11 ships vs 30
They had no support around they capital fleet, aint our fault is it?
They would have pwned us if they had played right.
our login was not everyone who logged in a few seconds, it was spread over several minutes. it takes their support 30 seconds from the sport they where at to goto their capital fleet.
Unless CCP makes it forbidden to log in when a pos is under attack, you should blame the game not the player.
and another thing. We always log at safespot, which we also did this time (well expecting a capital fleet to arrive we fitted a bit diffrent)
And why should our corp (many of us knows eachother reallife) not call eachother when our assets in under attack??
Now.. we played the game, they had plenty of time to react and get thir support in position, they didnt, even when they could see local was growing.
I bet B0b at some point also get hold of members on MSN and stuff to get them ready for some blob operation somwhere, everyone knows that happens, or even on teamspeak! stop crying about this and making yourself look ridiciolus.
it was apx 5 minutes after we logged in we attacked, even their dreads had not disablet siegemode..
WARNING: x13, will at any time protect our assets! If not online, we might call our commander and assamble a fleet to strike back on any agressors. So wipe your eyes, buy a covert and get proper support to the fleet.
Thanks x13 ............... We will win Eve

If this is a problem, get CCP to make it impossible for a corp to login while hes pos in under attack. yeaa that sounds stupid dosnt it?

agreed, but just for the record.
Gang was formed: 20:37 Carrier was killed 20:44
Carrier was killed in apx 1 minute.
In between our arrivel, our opponent had 6 minutes to get the carriers out and get close to spot. enough said. x13 ............... We will win Eve
