For example, your target is to destroy an Angel Capital Shipyard, which exists in a two-pocket Deadspace zone. They recently built a new Nidhoggur and it's testing itself against Minmatar Republic Fleet ships. They are in trouble and you have to help them out, as well as take out the shipyard. You get two bookmarks. One to the Shipyard and one to the battlefield with the Carrier fighting the Matari ships. Additionally, you are informed that there is a secret passageway to the Shipyard, if you can find it you can avoid the first Pocket which has a lot of defense. But to find this secret passage way you have to scan the system, and possibly hack the gate. (Finally some use for Hacking outside COSMOS)
Once you attack the Shipyard, the Nidhoggur pulls back its fighters and tries to return to the Shipyard to reinforce it. Hence you need a few guys attacking the carrier, keeping it occupied with the Matari fleet while the others assault the Shipyard. The other group can choose to go straight through the defensive pocket, or have a scout figure out the secret entrance and hack the gate to open it. If the Nidhoggur gets out and manages to reinforce the Shipyard prepare for a big battle. ;)
I reckon that would be a good group idea for the mission. A few crazy people can still try and solo it, taking the shortcut straight into the shipyard, where they first take out the remaining defenses and then the fighters once the Nidhoggur arrives.
Out of all the ideas Iever heard for level 5's this sounds brilliant. Only thing I'd add is all people in the gang must be capabale (standings wise) of using the agent).
This would take alot of work by ccp though, as missions take abit of programing and we all like alot of variations. Sounds good though.
Please CCP let us have level 5's. I might come back and play fulltime rather than occasionally whilst playing other online games. Been an eve player nearly three years. Best idea they ever had was gang oriented missions. The idea of level 4's was good before the whingers got ahold of it!
