thats the info on the skill
but theres also skill for industrials,cruisers,battleships,titans

Don't worry about it for now, there are no assembly costs for ships (aka bought your ship, now gonna unpacakge it). It's a skill like the social and trade type skills, useless and in the game.

Not in-game, other game from character creation. But you'll need this skill if u intend on manufacuring tech 2 ships, cos its a pre-eq of advanced starship contruction skill.

U can get a list from eve-db.com with all the pre-eqs needed. Nice site aswell with lots of stuff that maybe in-game "soon" *cough*

Ive always thought that the 'assembly cost' was the cost for building (producing) the ship was.
Am i wrong? |

that would be construction costs. when you have a packaged ship (right off the line in the market or just prouced from factory) and then right click on it, the option you choose is "assemble".
either way, until they get those advanced skills in, my Frigate Construction skill will be gathering dust

Really? The decent ISK payouts and faction hikes I'm getting from my agents say that the Social skill in particular is very valuable.

in one of the beta phases there was a assembly cost on the ships. maybe later they are gonna re add the skill, but with a changed version of what the description says now

Great! At last there will be some heirachy in the game for long-term players. I'm sick of seeing players with 500,000 skill points flying battleships.
