Dreamfall: The Longest Journey i just finished it and by jaal's flea-infested ********, it's glorious, beautiful, amazing, indescribable.
although i'd recommend finishing "The Longest Journey" before playing Dreamfall, since Dreamfall is TLJ's sequel.

Sadly, it would probably have to be Everquest. It was my first online game and I played it longer than anything else.

Final Fantasy 3 for Super Nintendo. As a young lad, never could have imagined that a video game could be so ridiculously huge and involved. The strategy guide was thicker than the dictionary. Move on to FF7 and FF8, and my rpg addiction was total. SWG was my first mmo, and have to say, although it's dead and gone to me now, the pre-cu days will always have a place in my heart. Haven't developed that good a group of friends in any of numerous games i've played since.

Same here man, although I moved onto MegaTF after a while. I really miss those days. ----- Lighten up a little bit. It's only the end of the world. |

It was doom that introduced me to games but quake that made me into a dedicated computer games fan... well quake until total annihilation arrived and that would prob count as one of the all time great games that I have played

Doom (PS): First time i played Doom was on the Playstation I loved it SO much. I remember the first map loading and i moved i thought Holy **** look at the gun swaying. I played through the game more times than i care to remember. Completing it on Nightmare without being hit, just because i wanted to not because there was any reward. Thats what you call good game design.
I used to play my friends with the playstations linked. But they refused to after awhile after i memorized all the sounds of items being picked up. Id know exactly where they were at all times.
Dune 2: This game took away a seriously large portion of my life. The final map on this game was amazing going up against 3 full enemy bases with only your own piddly base at the begining. Firing 12 Death hands FTW. Being the Ordos and having a Sabateour who loved blowing up walls instead of buildings FTL!
FFVII: Greatest game ever made, official! Nuff said!
FFTactics: Damn you Garfgarion Damn you right to hell!
XCOM Enemy Uknown / Syndicate / Supremacy / Total Annihilation / Frontier Elite II / Gradius V / Streetfighter II Turbo / Super Mario Bros III / Super Mario World / Resident Evil / Zelda Link to the Past / Diakatana
Okay the last ones a joke (literally!)

Elite on the speccy was the first true time-killer for me. Dungeon Master on the ST was the next biggie.
