If ur interested in going to an edinburgh meet on Fri 9th June post here. Still open for locations, but Im thinking the Golf Tavern in Bruntsfield/Tollcross would be good.
I know a bunch of ppl live near there so post here if u wanna go and we can get it sorted for deffinate.

it would a long trip for me to get there and i work fridays till 7pm so near impossible.

I would be for a scottish Eve meet-up but would suggest Glasgow. East/West divide stuff aside, it would probable be easier for folk driving (streets are a tad easier to navigate), plus is pretty good for transport links.

I have recently moved to Edinburgh. I work on a saturday as well, untill 8pm.... Just means I have to play catch up if the meet starts earlier

I live in Glasgow, but am in Edinburgh fairly regularly (am from there originally). Would be up for a meet in either city. Not been to the Golf Tavern or any of the bars by the Links in years though. Always good to sit outside in the summer....

make it easy for everyone meet in the middle of edinburgh and glasgow which is falkirk and transport is easy there the M9 and trains coming from glasgow and edinburgh.

if there are a few people going not from edinburgh i suggest jeckle and hyde, so i can laugh at them tryin to find the toilets!

I'm thinking september time. How does Sat 9th September sound? From 8-1 in a bar somewhere, then clubbing perhaps?

Bunch of my corp mates are from Edinburgh, I'll point them in this direction.
If they'll put me up for the night I may even head down from sunny Aberdeen as well.

Yeah, an edinburgh meet up would be good, but im to young and sadly i would like to go, but 16 i is.

Can let my corp members know, theres another 4 or so of us who are in Edinburgh. Shouldn't be too hard to motivate them... "Beer and people talking about Eve for hours on end, and the on going search of cheaper beer" should get them interested

Well, I will be away in China from today - 1st September. I will try and organise the meet when I get back. But its most likely going to be middle-end of September on a Saturday evening in Edinburgh city centre.
