My mining guide has been written over 2 months ago and has been somewhat successful, and I got a lot of feedbacks, as well as many questions... I would REALLY like for a dev to read the following list and tell us what is working, or at least HOW it should work so I can better update the guide and let the community know...
Problem 1 - Mining Foreman Link - Laser Optimization
Although the link appears in the known issues list, many of us would like to know how it should work. Current situation is that:
1) The skill and the link do not stack
2) Squadron Command skill also affects the foreman link. Description reads:
Improved gang leadership. Boosts effectiveness of all
warfare link modules by 10% per level.
There is no mention of foreman link modules, so is it a description error or a bug? Can you confirm once it will work whick skill will affect the link?
Problem 2 - Mining Foreman Mindlink
According to the description, the implant should be giving the following bonuses:
1) 15% bonus to yield of the wearer
2) 50% bonus to Foreman Skill
3) 50% bonus to the effect of the mining foreman links
Which means, that an implant wearer should receive 15% from foreman V when ganged (10% * 1.5) and 15% from the implant itself. If the implant wearing is in a BC the laser optimization link should be giving 15% also.
Can you confirm those are the right numbers? Although I have the implant I cannot wear it yet, and the many reports I have received were all very unclear. Althought its clear it doesn't work as intended yet, can you tell us how it will work when it does ?

Edit: after some more testing...
Mining Foreman Mindlink does NOTHING
- Quite simple, somebody had the implant in and when doing the math, the mindlink gives no bonus whatsoever to the wearer nor does it enhance the mining foreman skill bonus. Completely broken.
Michi mining implant cancels foreman skill bonus, HX implant however works.
- A corpmate said before he installed the michi mining implant, when ganged, he could see the effect of the foreman skill enhancing his yield. Since he plugged the michi in his yield stays the same regardless if he is ganged or not.
An official bug report has been made but it'd be nice to know when this will be fixed as these implants are VERY expansive and paying hundreds of millions of ISK for worthless sh*t is not fun.
