The patch auto-downloaded and installed fine for me. Also I noticed the patch .exe was downloaded to my CCP/EVE folder so look in there and just run it manually if you have problems.

Yes - go to this link: http://www.eve-online.com/patches/patches.asp
Choose 2.10.3910 from the droplist and click find client. Run the .exe when downloads and choose your proper CCP/EVE directory to install to.
Will work fine, but beware the new fonts! o.O

I have never *****ed about any of the font changes to date (even though they have been less than perfect for a while... THIS time though, it has gotten a lot worse tbh.

Excellent advice. Most important items to keep from your Cache folder: prefs.ini + Settings folder. This will retain your login info, preferences, and bookmark folders.

Now, I get to enjoy a half second or so pause as it switches tabs. Pause, as in the entire client pauses.
Clicking on the tabs to switch chat windows... definite lag which was not there before.
You can tell its 'loading' but very annoying.
