The character BIG HOF is in no way related with the BIG Lottery - and is simply a scammer (who likes to write a lot)
I've got the following from a couple of people already

can give to a friend of yours, remember however, this code is only
to be used once.

Give this code to a friend and he will be able to participate in the
Special Hall Of Fame as well, but for now this is a one-time
opportunity.
This all must be alot of information to you, so we will explain how
to use the code.
1. Your friend sends the money to "BIG HOF"
2. Your friend mails "BIG HOF" the amount sent, AND the code.
3. Your friend will be entered into the Special Hall Of Fame Round.
REMEMBER: You must NOT send the money to BIG Games, because

Isn't impersonating other users for scamming purposes prohibited in the TOS? This happened to the Lucky Dip and the characters were banned or something.

Ah yes, i`ve got it too and was just about to ask you.
Thanks for the clarification.
Though I wonder how this person knows about my isk transfer? Did he somehow associate the amount and timestamp from the lottery list with the name?

Yes thats excactly doable (once the name of the winner is made public) - and is in fact on of the 'failsafes' to ensure that I cant rig it.

If you go back and read inbetween it sounds like he can't make up his mind as to how much and how many tickets there are. It's just a poor attempt at scamming and no doubt anyone scammed by this will recieve their isk back, and this character will be banned. The BIG lottery is one of the most scammed events I've ever heard about, there is always someone making a character trying to act as if they are the bank for the BIG lottery.

Im so glad I didnt do anything, I hate scammers.

TornSoul, I know how it feels. I know one can't really discuss GM's decisions on the forum but what I think I can say is that when ICSC had a simiar attempt to scam us we pressed that little "petition" button and had some help.
Good luck and glad to see this came to light. Death to scammers that can't think of ways to make a name of their own.

TBH I hope they don't ban him. Phishing should be allowed in game. Or else they better start banning those that make escrow scams and the pirates that kill their prey after they have paid the ransom.
And actually he's pretending that he's another character, not another user.
