Don't fly anything you cannot replace as soon as you undock. Orca would be a bad idea imo.
With 700M ISK and an indy spirit, I would probably invest in a few BPOs and get them ready for Kronos. Or station trade. Member of the #TweetFleet@thisurlnotfound |

I'd say that going that route will make sure you'll make somebody else really happy, while you'll be short on money for losing a ship you have no use for or can't defend anyway.
Yeah ... go for it!
Why, in hell, would you want to mine when you have ISK anyway?

You could perhaps try reinvesting it in station trading. It is also enough to have a practically limitless supply of T1 PVP ships. |

Buy one of every T1 frigate in the game & mess around with them. That should give you an idea of what weapon systems & style you enjoy. Then, buy yourself a T1 cruiser or two, and lose a bunch of frigates in low-sec. |

Station trade.
Set low buy orders, once ppl fill them, sell items with sell orders..
Try this in mission systems where people buy and sell loot, ammo... Or pick a popular module in jita and start flipping those, but margin is low.
In the meantime continue training ship and combat skills, do missions, try your hand in factional warfare.
Dont mine. Not worth it. |

Log off and never log back on. Since you didn't earn the ISK yourself you will quickly get bored and not want to play anymore. Just cut out the tedious station spinning now and leave. |

You sold a PLEX and you dont know what to do with the ISK, this indicates you had no need for the isk whatsoever, so why did you buy the PLEX to begin with?
Im genuinely curious, was it just to have a fatter looking wallet? |

I know what you SHOULDN'T do with that PLEX money...... buy ships you can't fly effectively. Honestly, it's better spent on skill books and lots and lots of fitted/rigged T1 frigates. Give yourself a break from ISK grinding, and actually learn how to play the game. Join a PvP corp so you can learn how to fight.... even if you don't want to be a pirate, those actual PvP skills (I'm talking your personal knowledge, not SP) will still come in handy if you ever get ganked. You'll know how to fight back, and even if you still die, at least it won't be so one-sided. That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right... |

I know you said you are industrial type, but that doesnt mean industry is the best place to invest 740mil isks. I think the best place to invest your 740mil isks would be get a navy megathron, fit it for incursions, and go spam for a month non stop.
THEN you can do what you like, industry or whatever. |

Hmm... with a little more, and some training in covert ops frigs, you can run out into ORE space and pick up expensive BPOs that you then bring back to high sec for even more isk. Market speculation is another option. If you're serious about industry, you could get a small industrial POS started once the summer expansion gets here. They're going to be pretty useful to industrialists post patch, much more so than now.
Or, you can just take the covert, and sit someplace cloaked in system to drive the nullards crazy. |

Skill Books --- > good.
Low level implants ---> good.
High level implants --> bad, just make you nervous
BPO --> good providing you work out what is actually useful ( hint, compare manufacturing cost here http://www.eve-cost.eu/calculator with sell price here https://eve-central.com/home/market.html and do not build stuff given away free in a school system)
Station trading ---> very good
Ships you cannot yet or can barely fly --> bad if you are buying them to fly
Ships you cannot fly that are about to be buffed as an investment to sell later --> good
stuff to get into PI --> good
ship skins ---> bad
the list can go on forever ... as you are the industrial type you should be reading the marketing and industry forums and may even be advised to post a similar thread there.

Send me your isk and I'll halve it for you. It's awesome to be a young toon in this game. I remember when my wallet crossed the billion is mark for the first time. I remember when it crossed the 100b mark as well and I almost bought a legacy toon from the bazaar. A buddy of mine talked me out of it by explaining how it would screw up the learning curve, and break the game for me. He was right and I'm glad I listened.
Anywho....Skill books, cheap ships, etc. By the time your actually ready for that orca, you'll know that you need it and it's price won't be any significant amount of isk to you anymore. EVE's only legitimate ISK halving service. I have 500Billion to not give away. It's easy for you to double my money. Just send me some isk, has to be 100Mil or higher, and I will send you back half. I can't lose. One guaranteed winner every round. Do it now. |

I need tea................ Investment. I have enough isk to hire the most expensive of mercs for over 50 weeks of wardec. Money is power, even in EVE. It's also why I PVP in navy/pirate ships with faction mods routinely while other players struggle to replace a Thorax .
A little bit of inconvenience while I do house chores for all that... must you ask why?
It's not just me of course, some of the top members in alliances like Goonswarm run large multibox mining fleets on a semi-regular basis. |

buy a crap ton of cheap ships and go into Faction warfare. then never be poor again.
or if youre really into industry, station trading is a super easy way to make something out of nothing. just watch out for risky buys since you can easily lose the isk as fast as you gain it |
