8-JYPM, Syndicate - A ganksquad of roughly a dozen ships were sighted in Lower Syndicate today. When rallied, Goonfleet and friends repsonded with a gang of over 100 - obviously overkill, but how else would they welcome these relative newcomers to Syndicate? After compairing both killboards, it appears as though D2 was soundly spanked, losing a Sacrilege, Venegnce, two Prophecy, Retribution, Arbitrator, Vagabond (lossmail not posted) and Deimos, while killing a Crusader, Omen (killmail not posted), Incurses, and later ganking a Merlin.
Does this mean D2 will be seen Syndicate more often in the coming days? Can we expect a full deployment of D2's fleets? How does Goonfleet plan to deal with the possible deployment of D2's mothership?

You know the differance between alliences who rely on the ombwtfBLOB and alliences who rely on skill?
When we BBQ someone we don't feel the need to make a new thread about it. Nor do we feel the need to outnumber them 10:1.

Hey,
You killed a few ships of an NME using over 5 times their numbers and then are so excited you need to post about it on a public forum? The tact and skill you possess astounds me. The question is what ever will they do with such losses? They will be demoralized for the rest of their careers.
The time it will take them to recoup their losses is nothing. I'm sure they had a ball with those odds and they still landed kills, nice work imo.
There are some intresting thing post about fights. Those events are major and effect eve or the balance of it. There for they are intresting to read for all. This is like me posting the story to every gang we run into your space and the owning we do daily. So please keep these boast posts on your own forums oss.

*edit I think the idea of a news network is awesome. To get little tid bits of info we can't get unbias would be great. However posts like this that are blatently once sided ruin it.

Shocking news, indeed.
Heads will roll. Fighting slightly outnumbered is one of the first lessons taught at the military academy in BKG. The losses we suffered in this battle are totally unacceptable, and i¦m sure the responsible fleet commander already handed his resignation to D¦ lead. He will prove himself leading the 2 weeks 24/7 alliance mining operation in Branch, which will hopefully cover some of the losses he accounts for.
I hereby apoligize in the name of D¦ to Goonfleet/friends for wasting your precious time. I¦m sure you have a lot of work to do, planning and preparing your invasion of Cloud Ring. Expect us to be back in about 2 weeks with a better performance.

2 Prophecies in a gank squad??? You sure half of those entries on killboard aren't some carebears getting owned elsewhere?
I know Prophecies can have gang links and stuff, but they would be slowing everybody down considering all of the other ships mentioned were cruiser size or lighter.

Ok, so you guys killed their ships. That's cool, but to say you "owned" them it's a bit of stretch, considering the numbers. In fact, 10:1 and you lose ships, and brag about it? Sounds more like "gj D2" tbh. And no I have no reason to root for D2, just pointing out lameness of this thread =)

i guess the FC screwed it somehow...ingame notepad 4tl...
But i think, we can handle this heavy losses within the next weeks by mining in our Ibises/Reapers/Velators in deep empire...

These last ditch efforts from goonfleet aren't fooling anyone. The people of Syndicate will welcome D2 with open arms in a matter of days, and we will start to see real democracy blossom in that troubled region.

Guys, please don't forget the majority of these guys are very new to the game, so quit thinking of them like seasoned vets.
It's exciting to them when they kill ships that cost over 100mil while they're in their 100k frigate or 3 mil cruiser.
NOBODY flamed LK, V & Chimp when they took down 10+ RA dreads did they ? They didn't say " meh, u needed ten to one odds to kill them, phleh "
They'll soon learn that posting with silly alts is lame and brings shame to their corp/alliance, but for now the argument about numbers is getting old, u should know better.

With all due respect, Tehel, the argument about them being "new" is getting old as well. Take a look at the killmails - several BS's, interceptors, tons of cruisers, and interdictor or two. I fought a goonie who was flying a command ship on SiSi, as well. We're not talking about kestrel-flying nubs anymore, here.

Well if they did do that, they'd of been lying. According to our fleet report there was 67 friendlies, and 42 hostiles. Find a better/true example please.

I am the only one that see's a slight difference in 10 dreads and a small gang? I also agree on the new player thing. They are not the noobies that they try to chime in about any more. 100 vs 12 omg history has been made. Wait no it hasn't. 10+ drad kills = history and post worthy. This feat was not.
