8-JYPM, Syndicate - A ganksquad of roughly a dozen ships were sighted in Lower Syndicate today. When rallied, Goonfleet and friends repsonded with a gang of over 100 - obviously overkill, but how else would they welcome these relative newcomers to Syndicate? After compairing both killboards, it appears as though D2 was soundly spanked, losing a Sacrilege, Venegnce, two Prophecy, Retribution, Arbitrator, Vagabond (lossmail not posted) and Deimos, while killing a Crusader, Omen (killmail not posted), Incurses, and later ganking a Merlin.
Does this mean D2 will be seen Syndicate more often in the coming days? Can we expect a full deployment of D2's fleets? How does Goonfleet plan to deal with the possible deployment of D2's mothership?

Hey,
You killed a few ships of an NME using over 5 times their numbers and then are so excited you need to post about it on a public forum? The tact and skill you possess astounds me. The question is what ever will they do with such losses? They will be demoralized for the rest of their careers.
The time it will take them to recoup their losses is nothing. I'm sure they had a ball with those odds and they still landed kills, nice work imo.
There are some intresting thing post about fights. Those events are major and effect eve or the balance of it. There for they are intresting to read for all. This is like me posting the story to every gang we run into your space and the owning we do daily. So please keep these boast posts on your own forums oss.

Shocking news, indeed.
Heads will roll. Fighting slightly outnumbered is one of the first lessons taught at the military academy in BKG. The losses we suffered in this battle are totally unacceptable, and i¦m sure the responsible fleet commander already handed his resignation to D¦ lead. He will prove himself leading the 2 weeks 24/7 alliance mining operation in Branch, which will hopefully cover some of the losses he accounts for.
I hereby apoligize in the name of D¦ to Goonfleet/friends for wasting your precious time. I¦m sure you have a lot of work to do, planning and preparing your invasion of Cloud Ring. Expect us to be back in about 2 weeks with a better performance.

2 Prophecies in a gank squad??? You sure half of those entries on killboard aren't some carebears getting owned elsewhere?
I know Prophecies can have gang links and stuff, but they would be slowing everybody down considering all of the other ships mentioned were cruiser size or lighter.

Guys, please don't forget the majority of these guys are very new to the game, so quit thinking of them like seasoned vets.
It's exciting to them when they kill ships that cost over 100mil while they're in their 100k frigate or 3 mil cruiser.
NOBODY flamed LK, V & Chimp when they took down 10+ RA dreads did they ? They didn't say " meh, u needed ten to one odds to kill them, phleh "

With all due respect, Tehel, the argument about them being "new" is getting old as well. Take a look at the killmails - several BS's, interceptors, tons of cruisers, and interdictor or two. I fought a goonie who was flying a command ship on SiSi, as well. We're not talking about kestrel-flying nubs anymore, here.

I think personaly D2 couldn't be bothered. Goon fleet is good for only a few things. One of those is testing the lag or playing with the lag 100+ zerging frigs + can bring to the server. The other is to get some quick kills (sharpen the teeth) and keep them busy on that front. One has to think with reportings of BoB in the area if they are trying themselfs to lure d2 into goons. To both keep them busy and to keep their minds off of becoming the next supa powa!. I dunno, but I begin to think this alt might not be goons after all.

As a Goonfleet director, I'd like to sincerely apologize to D2 for this ludicrously stupid alt post which is probably from one of our more 'excitable' members. Speaking personally, I welcome seeing D2 nosing around Syndicate, because you guys bring it and don't hold back, don't run, don't safespot, etc. The carnage is awesome, just the way we like it.
Bragging about us goonblobbing your guys and then making a retarded alt post about it isn't cool, though. It's not even funny, unlike some of the other 'political commentator' alts we've seen on these boards.
Sorry. With 1700+ pilots, it can be hard to prevent all of them from pressing the post button. This thread isn't an official Goonfleet release and shouldn't be regarded as such.

Not long ago I was flying my Megathron somewhere up north, just minding my own business when suddenly a D2 Vagabond attacks me and warp scrambles, I launch drones but within seconds a whole fleet of D2 HAC¦s warp in and needless to say it was a BBQ and my Megathron was the main. As far as i know since i had corpmates in that gang, they were roaming and engaged a cruiser on a gate without knowledge of what was on the other side.
Could be a careless mistake or just some guys getting bored and reckless and going suicidal. Well, stuff like that happens every now and then. Some of our guys had forgotten to turn off effects as well, which greatly reduced their chances to react fast enough to get out.
As for the missing killmails, due to some issues regarding browser security quite a few E-R members don't post on the D2 killboard. I think the missing vagabond loss is ours. However, we have some director dudes who copy and paste the mails from the E-R to the D2 board 1-2 times a week to keep it accurate, so all kills and losses should be there sooner or later.

Especially since they claimed they could, no less than a week ago mind you. The heavy losses they suffered during this battle indicates they're grossly inexperienced players. Which in turn will probably lead to a complete collapse of their war machine due to lack of ships and finances.
Except they didn't claim anything, nothing important was lost and the only thing this entire event proofs is that D2 lacked a proper scout.

tbh - we expected that there would be fierce fights and massive fleets in IMK .. not the few lone stranglers that roamed around ... and it wasn't never a complete lockdown like in EC-P8R ... i remember the mornings when lots of OSS haulers (with stabs  ) were flying from IMK to D7 ...
with a bit of dedication and coordination it should have been possible for E.R.A/OSS to put up a fight ... but it didn't happen

Apparantly 3FA and OSS work closely on keeping lower syndicate clean of enemies. And everytime i have encountered them it has been 70+ enemies. Props for forming fleets like that on a fairly short notice. Last time i got ganked by them they attacked our 7 man camp with 90 pilots.
This is not whining. 3FA has recently claimed systems in lower syndicate that are very hard to maintain due to all the gateways between systems and entrypoints from empire. And they have been fairly successfull doing it sofar with the help from OSS.
Gonna be interesting to see what the future brings. You have taken a bite of a rotten apple. Remains to see if u can swallow it. Anyways gl on this.
Btw, good to see you guys abstain from smacking. Clean ganks sofar.

Most seem to miss the facts here and looking at the objectivly is apparently hard.
What i can take from this is that goonfleet was able to field 100 pilots as simple "response force" (i don't want to know how many they can field if they plan it) and crushed a small gank squad. Not impressive skill wise, but why would that count?
It does not count, it just shows that the goons are to be taken serious, because they apparently don't let anyone mess with them.

I am not arguing about semantics Lorth , the main argument is D2 BLOBS when they can and they did it before so it was all good , now Goons blobbed D2 guys and now goons are bad ??
TBH every single person in BOS hates Blobs and if we are forced into a fight with BLOBS it is no fun at all and as for BKG it was a total lag festival for sure , i dunno who had fun there or not but i think the numbers were evenly matched there or slightly in the favour of one party but i cant recall for sure coz i only fought there for 1 day then i had to leave due to work in RL .
Honestly speacking BLOBs suck big time but never the less every oen uses them and it doenst make any difference between which party who uses its coz it just gives them a tactical advantage that they wont leave just to say " Oh yes we are l33t and we dotn blob" . This is not a slander towards D2 btw i am explaning here the argument since as far as i understood from ur previous post is that u claim that D2 never blobs coz they rely on skilled fleets and not blobs.

There's a huge differance between a fleet and a BLOB (blob in the negative sence.) We fully expected to be out numbered in IMK, thus we forumed a large fleet. Kinnda like we were in BKG, and we still fought.
I wish I could give you access to our forums to see for your self but... You'll have to take my word on it, we expected a little more from you guys.
I still stand by what was implied in that post. And I still stand by the fact that we don't purpossly gather forces that out number our opponents before we engage.
If you've got that through your head, maybe we can drop it? Or would you rater argue about semantics some more?
TBH every single person in BOS hates Blobs and if we are forced into a fight with BLOBS it is no fun at all and as for BKG it was a total lag festival for sure , i dunno who had fun there or not but i think the numbers were evenly matched there or slightly in the favour of one party but i cant recall for sure coz i only fought there for 1 day then i had to leave due to work in RL .
correction: ERA/OSS/whoever heavily outnumbered d2/whoever in every fleet engagement i was involved in. And i had fun, spanking people while outnumbered is a blast
