Welcome back to the game Acks. It has been a long time I'm sure.
Now about RONA Deepspace. I was in RONA, and it seems that RONAD is the one carrying the legacy of RONA. RONA was always a 0.0 organization, and as such RONAD appears to simply be going back to its roots. RONA was not made to stagnate in empire and lose members. I hope that RONA Corporation can find its soul, if you will, and join their friends in RONA Deepspace.

Wow. Ignorance at its best. There are quite a few people who are curious as to the status of RONA.
You see, RONA is more than just another corp. It is one of the oldest and most recognized names in the game. If you weren't so busy spreading vitriol about people and things you have no clue about you might have bothered to educate yourself a bit more about EVE's political landscape and history.

My fear is on these forums is that recently it has become the 'trend' to be an ignorant sarcastic git to those you don't know.

Acks is correct in saying that RONA and RONA Deepspace are two entirely different corporations. It was designed to be this way.
Robeyone, original CEO or RONA, asked my new corp to come back into the RONA family. Knowing of the management problems within RONA I said OK as long as we remained a seperate corp with seperate management, but we would work cooperatively alongside RONA. Robeyone asked me to change my corp name to reflect this and I did (something I would have never done except that I had great respect for Robeyone and all he had done for me in the past). Shortly after this Robeyone got a promotion in RL and now cannot play.
RONA Deepspace will keep its name for the time being because a good number of RONA Deepspace members ARE the ones who helped build RONA in the early days - also out of respect for the wishes of Robeyone.
Good luck to RONA into the future. I'm sure your rebuild will be successful.

RONA is EVE history. As a corporation it has been in steady decline longer than Ack's holiday playing WOW. It has an ivory tower mentality that is not justified by its actions, thus the exodus of many fine players. It should be noted that many of these players attempted to fix RONA, but were blocked and vilified at their every move, this includes RONA Deepspace.
The fact that Acks and Co. did nothing for months and months, and months to stem the decline, then have the gall to come out and dis RONA Deepspace for its efforts says reams about RONA management. What it all boils down to is, Acks and Co. want to control and stifle anything they don't initiate. Problem is they haven't initiated themselves for many months. Good luck hiding your ineptitude from your members and the EVE community.

On a Serious note I have flown by Acks side through thick and thin.
Yes he is a Grumpy Bastage But he is loyal and never leaves a friend or allies side when he commits to help.
As alot of you know Eve can burn a person out (Not me im addicted heh) and his retreat from this game is acceptable as most of you have done it.
As for "Control and Stifle" I personally was in teamspeak alot of times when he specifically informed RONA directors that they could do whatever they deemed necessary for their department of RONA (That didnt sound like stifling to me)
In closing I will state the following.
Any act of Aggression on RONA at this time will be considered a attack on Stronghold.
Corp and we will respond to RONA's aid.
Also: I have DEEP RESPECT for Shiittake (Sorry I had to use 2 I's to bypass the silly filter) I just wanted to make that very clear
