I just did the Space Telescope and only had 3 containers drop out of the 18 or so enemies. The sentry guns dropped two and a caracal droped one. A previous mission, seek and destroy, I had one drop of 100 heavy missiles. Both missions were Guristas in a deadspace complex. Is this normal for these two, a change I missed somewhere, or a new bug? Anyone have any other loot dead missions lately?

I did a level 3 mission last night (Intercept the Pirate Smugglers - Blood Raiders) that had 2 cans drop. One had 100 medium tungsten rounds, the other had a civilian sheild booster... ---- I'm paper, rock is fine, nerf scissors. |

Mission drops were changed shortly after the missions were put in, due to crying from the 0.0 crowd. They complained that it was unfair that mission runners in secure space could get drops and bounties on mobs without any danger of getting ganked by some player pirate. So designers responded by nerfing drop rates particularly on dead space missions. Gotta keep those PvP players happy since they are the only reason for the game.

Edited by: Andrue on 26/05/2006 14:52:55 I've done Downing the Slavers three times now. Each time the only drop on the final part has been a can with a medium radio crystal in it. Next time I'm not even going to haul my BS over to it. Probably(*).
(*)Back when I was a nub in the summer of 2004 I picked up a local hull cargo expander as loot in an L3 mission. Since then I tend to pick everything up. -- (Battle hardened miner)

I don't like that way of thinking. Why didn't they leave the loot drops the same and just make the loot in 0.0 twice as good? I don't even bother collecting loot.
