Hi Everyone ,
Just wanted to voice my option and hopes about Eve Valkyrie .. Like back in the olds days of Wing Command, Free Space, and Star Wars .. I hope there will be joystick support , as I am a computer person and playing on PS3 and Xbox in almost a joke for me ..

Since it's on PC this time, it should be easy to map it even if they don't put innate support in (there are a few programs out there that do it). Hell, within 5 minutes, I even figured out how to get mine (Thrustmaster HOTAS X) to work with DUST on PS3. It makes dropships fun. |

This was brought up at one of the panels during fanfest.
Valkyrie will have joystick support, but it won't have mouse and keyboard support.
Start saving for a good HOTAS with pedals. |

Not having mkb support seems like a huge oversight, when other flight sim games are perfectly capable of being played that way (War Thunder, for example).
One thing's for sure, with all of these space sim games coming out it's a great time to invest in a good HOTAS.

they said that because its flying in a 3d setting that it is difficult to do with kb and mouse. plus the fact that you can;t see your hands makes it more difficult as well.
thats what was said in one of the valk presentations anyway. |

I do sincerely hope joystick support will be out for this.
I managed to find my old Microsoft Precision Pro, which is about 10 years old, originally raised from a dinosaur dig site obviously :D and it works!!! with windows 7 & 8 if anyone still has one of these, they will still function!
