Kinda, but I think it doesn't look "fish" enough 
It is definitely inspired from the Catalyst Destroyer, though those two have very different styles from the rest of the Gallente ships. The others have predominantly phallic or bulbus features.
It still seems Gallente; just noticing how their style is more diverse than the other races. Is that supposed to be a point you think?

I believe that the new BC's and BS will be released with the first part of the Kali patch. CCP stated that they would release this first patch for Kali in september. But knowing MMORPG's in general this will be delayed of course. On the other CCP isn't just any MMORPG company so we'll see what happens.

RMR was the first Kali patch.
The ships wont come earlier than september according to the roadmap to the next parts of Kali.
It will be more like december though, given ccp's patch announcement and implementation history.

Strange how every new ship is always "ooh, aah, pretty" by most people's opinion, even when the old ones look a lot nicer Some people seem to equal newer to prettier no matter what. Or my sense of aesthetic really differs from the mainstream.
Personally I think this one looks even worse than the new BS, and hell of a lot worse than the Brutix, which is perhaps the nicest-looking Gallente ship, or at least close. This one's similar to Catalyst, but lacks all the things that makes the catalyst actually look nice. Apparently being vertical doesn't help. As it is, it looks more like a more crudely shaped Sansha ship, like I said in the first thread I noticed.
Of course, the final ingame model might look better, but I doubt I'll like it even then. But good if someone else does. Oh well, there's always Brutix and Cyclone At least if they fix the agility and sig radius...

this thing resembles the Catalyst a bit but then put on it's tale! Very nice design.
Might actually consider getting this one!!! (no offence to the people flying it but the brutix looks like a turd)
anyone have the links to the preliminary stats? will it be gunship/dronecarrier/something completely different?

Ok, your Brutix comment completely invalidates any opinion you may express about ship aesthetics. ;-)
As for the vertical flying wing of a BC, I look at it and thing "OMG, with such a horrid mass distribution, it's going to be even *less* maneuverable than a Brutix!"
