I started playing MMO's with EQ and have probably played 75% of them. As a rule I never ever ever PVP...except one time.
I really liked Warsong Gulch in WoW. Why is that? I hate open world PVP, I despise ganking, I'm the biggest carebear in like ever but for some reason I couldn't tear myself away from Warsong.
Why? I'm not sure. But for me, that REALLY worked. |

I'd think the angle is obvious: if a large chunk of Eve's players aren't PVPing, why not? What can you do to get them to do so?
What was it about Warsong that successfully GOT me to PVP and how can that be applied here? |

Now that's a good idea. I'm a nub so I'll take my nub cormorant a couple systems over into lowsec. If only there were a way to predict what would happen to me? |

Because in WSG all players were around my level, all had similar gear, and no player vastly outclassed or out geared anyone else. You had a chance. I feel if I stick my head into lowsec or 0.0, I will have no chance. |
