You do know that Querious region was named "jk-fix" or whatever it was, and referred to by everyone as FIX, before the patch when CCP added 'real' names to all the open 0.0 regions, right?
Even if there isn't any official tie, FIX was named after the FIX region, ie Querious.
This is the only part of this thread I'm going to respond to, the accusations/information that is being fed out by some individuals here is so inaccurate it would take more time and effort to even attempt to make corrections to their thinking than I have time or inclination to give. (not to mention the chances of success are low)
Dalman, you may recall that FIX sprung up very suddenly with the onset of the CFS war. Much of the details of government and the transferal from QDF to an Alliance organisation was worked out, but the name was still up in the air. Several suggestions had been made and bandied about by the time everything hit the fan.
At the time, I was one of the people responsible for diplomacy, and it fell to me at that time to make the announcement as to our intentions. Prior to declaring ourselves as an alliance, we had simply thought of ourselves as independant corporations of Querious; in the first post made, it was decided while the post was being typed, that our ticker would be FIX. The main thought being that it was something everyone could agree upon easily, and it identified our origins in this region from the time before the regional name changes.
It wasn't until a little while later, that the full name of Firmus Ixion was agreed upon and then made public... FIX is a damn hard acronym to work with. The name Firmus Ixion is based upon our actions, ideals and history, not the region of JK-FIX/Querious. It is easy to see how others would make an assumption that FIX was founded based upon territorial designs, while territory was something in our sights, it was the least of what we stood for in the bigger picture.

You guys are just mad because your stated goal of "to completely destroy FIX" isn't achievable. My vote was to let you guys have Querious long ago just so we could ALL have a laugh at how well your duct tape coalition would hold together when it came to splitting up the goods.
Of course, I'd also love to see just how well you guys could hold space with *gasp* conquerable stations.
Tell you what... Hold Querious for two years then you'll have earned your stones and I'm sure everyone would give you the respect you insist you deserve.
