These features come as part of the Industry changes and so are included in the Crius release.

While there will be lots of disapointment over the push back, this is CLEARLY better than releasing a huge set of changes that were not properly tested.
CCP Greyscale will be going into detail regarding what he now has time to address regarding research changes, most likely in his dev blog thread here.
Regarding what feedback we are reviewing, I will see if it makes sense to provide a comprehensive list, but we certainly needed to make sure that the Industry experience was at least on par and better than what is currently in game. Feel free to poke me on: Twitter |

Also PLEASE post a blog about what is and is not going into this patch now. are the mineral balances still being implemented? what about squalor compression and the compression array?
We understand the disappointment, but ultimately we believe this is for the long term health of the game. Material changes, together with compression arrays (and other related changes) will still be included in the Crius release.

Thanks
The plan is to push the changes to SiSi around June 10 with APIs, giving people around 5 weeks to help test and update their tools. CCP Nullarbor //-áExotic Dancer-á// DEVGIFS |

Some people have asked for a comprehensive list of what's going into Kronos and what's going into Crius.
We are working on a list internally which will include all of this information and make it available to you soon. In fact we have plans for the Kronos release to go to Singularity very soon. In summary however most of the details can be found in the news article:
http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/industry-features-coming-in-the-crius-release/
The Kronos release, coming out on June 3rd, will include all other features announced in development blogs and during the EVE Online keynote at Fanfest, such as the 3 new Mordu's Legion ships, the new advanced mining frigate, changes to low sec sites and faction warfare, new warp-in effects, rebalanced and redesigned ships, drone rebalance, faction themed stations and sound customization.
If it relates to game balance that does not strictly involve or impact Industry then you can expect it will go out in the Kronos release on June 3rd. Redesigned ships includes new models in case that was unclear.
Changes to Starbases, Reprocessing and Compression, Material requirements, Research, the Industry UI/UX or anything else covered in the 6 Industry blogs you can expect to go out with the Crius release on July 22nd.
Hope that clarifies things for most people. You can expect more details in the days and weeks leading up to Kronos on June 3rd. However if there are specific changes that you are unsure about when they are being released feel free to ask and we will tell you where it slots in. Feel free to poke me on: Twitter |

Weaselior wrote:Glad to see that there will be time to tweak the things that have been mentioned as needing a bit of work. From memory, I think those are:
1) POS - the new lowsec array and making the arrays have some sort of cost thingie 2) Copying - Figuring out the correct formula and other tweeks needed (e.g. capital component bpc amounts increasing)_ 3) Correct application of these changes to t2 bpos
Any others?
I will be diving back into both of my blog threads tomorrow, Fanfest and then waiting for this announcement has delayed me posting anything last week :) |

Potions Master wrote:Thank you RubberBand, I was just looking for some kind of bullet point list showing what was going to be in Kronos and what was moved to Crius.
As an aside, are there any parts of the industry revamp that can be released earlier? Or have they all been integrated into each other as some sort of giant black box where no piece functions without the others? From an outside point of view, several of the things look like they could be released on their own without the others to let us slowly build up to the full suite.
I also see no mention of where the anchoring IV change for Starbase Defense Management has gone. I assume it's a Kronos change though... (Btw, would be nice for gunnery skills to effect starbase modules, it would make up for the few stat upgrades they've had over the years. A renaming of the guns to indicate their ammo usage wouldn't be too unwelcome as well, as they all use the size up from their name. Small = Medium, etc...)
You're welcome.
We discussed trying to separate out elements of the Industry changes, but ultimately the technical overhead and design consideration was not worth it. We consider the Industry all interconnected so trying to split it up did not seem wise on any front.
I will double check the changes to anchoring tomorrow when I get into work, but I believe they are not tied to the Industry changes specifically.
