You sure it's over tanked? I know I am a rookie but the fit you posted doesn't really look like it could tank the sites. |

Angels are effective at ranges less than 10km.
MJD keeps you 100km off. |

My honest opinion, you shouldn't be flying a battleship with just a month on your account. I think I got into mine my second month and felt crippled compared to my friends who'd played for some time.
But if you do, the MJD sniping thing works like a charm against all but Guristas. Try get rid of all scrammers first, then just warp out if you take too much damage / rats get too close.

FYI, you wouldn't necessarily be making life easier on yourself by sticking to the lower end anoms in a Raven. The Raven is comparatively strong against battleship rats, lower end anoms will have more frigates.
As for your fit, looks like you're blinging in the wrong places. Start with faction damage mods, add the rest if you start swimming in money. |

At 100km from the rats the only thing that will be hitting you are the cruise missiles from batterys or BS and those are tank able with the setup I posted. If stuff starts getting close, just point your ship in some direction that will plop you another 100km away, hit the MJD and they will never hit you with their turrets. |

Like other mentioned, you can drop 1 hardener in the mids for something more useful Speed mod or MJD
I'd add a T2CCC rig and drop 1 flare
The bling you have is decent and not all that expensive, but the DG booster is also not *very much better* than T2.
T2 cruise launchers would be a great improvement
Light drones only (Maybe 1 flight of ecm drones for a lucky escape some day?)
