As stated in our regular recruitment post, we occasionally take in new players as a gesture of good faith to the community.
I'm happy to announce that we have 5 places free in Veto for five younger players with a skillpoint total in the range of 5 million.
Right now we are looking for ROOKIE PIRATES AND ASPIRING PIRATES with roughly 5 million skillpoints. These skillpoints should all be PvP focused, so if you mainly have industrial skills, you need not apply.
About Us :
We are a -10 pirate corporation, our sole goal being none destructive profit.
We will not be part of any alliance, or coalition, we have one NAP, with a corp we work in conjunction with, and one other +10 standing to a small corp who has been of great help to our members in the past. Everyone else is fair game, that's the way it stays. We rarely gate camp and have a strict anti-sniping policy.
Our main focus is not to "blob", but to run in fast moving, highly skilled small strike groups that engage in guerilla warfare and low security piracy.
What We Look For In Applicants :
All applicants should remember that this is a PvP corporation, specifically pirate, meaning that you will be expected to fight, and in most cases initiate agression.
Here are the qualities we're looking for in applicants :
> Rookie and aspiring pirates with the determination to learn.
> Any timezone.
> A mature attitude.
> Fully self sufficient, although some support will be granted if times are tough.
> ESSENTIALLY, A working Ventrilo Client and the use of a working microphone.
> A willingness to disregard security status, as you will eventually end up -10.
> A fair knowledge of game mechanics.
> The urge to attempt to kill anything we decide to make red, regardless of morals.
> The ability to follow instructions over voice comms.
> The ability to work as part of a team, which may include sometimes flying in a support or tackling role.
> A good level of player activity and playtime.
> The common sense to be able to tell a Heavy Pulse laser II from a Miner II.
What We DO NOT Look For In Applicants :
> Anyone who considers breaking our policies, there will be harsh reprocussions.
> People who smacktalk and dishonor agreements such as ransoms.
> Individuals with a history of scamming and ripping people off.
> Alts and characters on second accounts, people applying will do so with their main.
A side note on alts, if you feel the urge to apply and join to rip us off, don't bother submitting an application. All members will be fully screened before being accepted into the corp and the five that we select for these positions will recieve NO hangar access until I am personally fully convinced of their loyalty. And I'm not a particularly trusting person.
Anyone who is found or suspected of attempting to thieve from us will not be informed they have been rumbled. The first they will know about it is their repeated podkilling, stripping of any assets belonging to them that we can, and prompt ejection from the corp.

This is a great opportunity for you.
Since joining VETO I can honestly say that I have never been happier than now. Its a great corp and normally the SP req's are steep your being given a really good opportunity here.

What would be the average time taken to reach 5Mil sp or around from my current location?
I have currently 1.2Mil and am spending the next 2 months getting my Advanced learning to lvl 4 after that I will be spending 1 month on getting my main rank 1 skills and cruiser skills to lvl 5, at the end of this period I will most likely work back on my shield T2 and Gunnery T2 skills to better my self in cruisers and hopefully ready my self for HAC's.
Maybe when I am skilled and confident enough I will get in contact and see if I am a worthy of possible recruitment until then I give you a free bump and good luck in finding new players.
