The concept of "bait and switch" is an everyday occurrence in EVE, moreso in PVP.

Over the past week my friends and I have been picked on by these haulers. Unless it was a programming mistake the haulers are not haulers. Something is not stirring the Kool-Aid about them. After losing a few interceptors we started losing attack frigates. Despite them being tech two focused damage, we are still losing to this Nereus ship.
Is there an exploit going on? Why is this hauler getting the best of us?

You made the ultimate mistake you can make in EvE.
You underestimated your opponent.
3x drones + neutron blaster + neut + huge supply of cap boosters + element of surprise = surprisingly effective combat platform.
Bring a bigger ship next time. Or stop mining into cans. They can't kill you in hisec if you don't aggress them first.
