Its one of those web browser, build your empire, attack others, turn based games :). Played it a couple months ago as part of the Five alliance and we ended up with a fairly large group in there which was fun for a while. Now the game has more alliance support so you can combine fleets which was something really missing from when I last played it.
A new universe (number 20) has just opened today so very good timing if we want to have a go as a Eve player alliance.
Anyone interested?

Do youhave to send Circular messages to the alliance in order to talk, or is there a chat channel?
I've already built the wrong buildings, need to wait till the morning to recoup the metal I need! lol

Quick starting guide is to build a few metal mines along with power plants to support them, you need metal more then crystal to start. Remeber when you have build your first mines and power stations to go into the resources section and put their production to 100%.
There is no chat unfortunatly and circular mails could get old quickly so I would use this thread for now. I'l see about getting a forum up for it.

Ok to chat use alliance section look under send circular.
To read messages to you go to Overview.
Also you seem to get an influx of resources once an hour [i think]. So i advise you read the tutorials first.
Start by getting the metal mine to level 3 and solar collector to 2 and a crystal mine to 1 to begine with.

Resources you seem to get every minute or two- I was on 36 metal about 10 mins ago, and now on 52

You get resources constantly, the numbers it gives are per hour.

Actually since i started ive recieved 3 resource injections ill try and time it more accuratly

Yeah, Metal mine is currently at 4, just waiting to upgrade the plant next.

I just worked out the resource thing it is per hour but its devided into 6 i think and you get each of the portions every 10 minuites.
