Hi,
After spending quite some time training to fit this implant (charisma skill, grr), would it not be too much to expect that the armor bonus actually works.
What id like to know from the community who have skilled up for this type of implant; do any of the gang mindlinks actually work as they should ?
After being in this "game" for nigh on 3 years now, I suppose its my own damn fault for expecting CCP to actually release an item for use that bloody works as it should.

The armor mindlink is working in combination with armor gang assist modules. Are you in a gang?

Hi,
To the previous poster.
I did not mention with regards to the gang modules bonus; my post is with regards to the "15" armor bonus that im (hopefully) assuming is applied to ones own armor whether being in a gang or not.

It doesn't aply as far as I know. I think the devs deactivated it in testing since it simply made the implant too good.

You *must* be in a gang for any gang modifier, gang skill, or gang modules to work.
That's why it is isn't appearing. It simply replaces the skill effect from Armored Warfare with a 15% modifier.

Not only in gang, but in a gang with a gang member in the same system for the bonus to apply.

Well it's only supposed to upgrade the 10% armor bonus (from armored warfare lvl5) to 15% so it's really just a 4.5% armor increase (1.15/1.1=1.04545454..)
Or that is at least how skrimis mindlink is working.. and it's working just fine. Though rather disappointing
