now as i said, read that post again, it was meant in a jokey way and was a direct reply to what he was saying on air at the time.
but.. get over it already jeez, STFU is such a hurtfull thing to post that the worlds miltary are giving up their guns and instead throwing leaflets with "STFU" written on them in big red letters. Human rights organisations are up in arms about it, complaining about the untold human suffering and mass civilian cassualties as a result.
i feel his pain, i really do... its heart wrenching. i appologise.
in other revelations, united nations weapons inspectors recently found huge barrels full of liquified "STFU" in Iraq...

The listener peak shown on the web-site is re-set at each stream. Put we have records of previous peaks...
Check the current listener amount and peak at http://broadband.eve-radio.com:8000
But the last peak this stream was just over 60.
err --  nope its not reset at each stream - sorry blades -- but great job today  highest I saw for blades was 53

Anyway, moving on...
Was a really great show tonight, one of the best I've heard.. Very funny stuff... MrBlades has got quite a professional setup at home, and on his next show you can call in LIVE to the radio! Everyone else will be able to hear in cystal clear quality (Provided you are listening to the broadband stream lol).
I think it's a national rate telephone number (0870)... MrBlades says he's not making any money from it... SAYS he isn't... lol...
Anyone, hope you all enjoyed the show and I know I'm really looking forward to the call-ins!

Sorry, I was including the narrowband listeners in my user-count... The EVE-Radio bot monitors both streams, so I can see the 'real' user counts, and trends :)

someone is just going to ring in just so they can shout stuff out im telling you..
please record callers and save baby jebus from having to listen to lots of asshats phoning in just to see who can shout more stuff out before the phone is put down on them.

Don't forget there's a 15 second delay in the broadcast, so we can stop it from being broadcasted if we want.

again, i think you got the wrong idea from my posts. they WHERE constructive ideas, and my first was just replying to what he was saying on air at the time. To then turn around and say on air that IM the one lacking humor and suggest i take things personally when he tries to put a bounty on my head... was even funnier, and pretty hypocrytical.
Please dont confuse comments and ideas with flames, i wouldnt be taking the time to try put my point across with you if i just wanted to flame, id just get the Matches and gasoline out wouldnt i?
PS: when is TC on air? ive not heard him yet, but keep meaning to, and has Dobys spot moved? no doby on an evening would be sad :/

Highest I saw was a tantalisingly close 59. I didnt take into account the lo band stream with that either, but still didnt quite beat TC's 60 the night before. Bugger, but what can you do? ;)
As for the rest of it - Guys, cmon. Whats said on air is intended to get a reaction out of you - good or bad. So long as it got one thats the job done.
As for the content, I admitted from an early stage that there was about an hours worth or music, 10 minutes of actual content and the rest was padding. When launching somthing like this onto an unsuspecting audience (Apart from the other DJ's there was no forewarning about the show makeup) you expect confusion, negative comment and some abuse because thats the nature of internet radio.
I was always going to leap on negative comments and poo poo them the best and most entertaining way possible - which to the majority of listeners is to retaliate in kind. It's no big deal - and I dont think anyone will actually try and pod ya because I suggested my buddy above was a poo poo ploppy head or anything.
Most people hated me to start off with, a good portion of them probably still do. Thats ok with me, it's my format and I've been used to it the whole of the last 4 years I've done net radio broadcasting.
Anyway, don't take anything too seriously - end of the day it's meant to be entertainment. Some wont get or appreciate it, some will love it for what it is. If you dont like it, dont listen - if you dont like me, thats ok too It doesnt really matter as it's not the person, it's the character you're insulting. However if it's the person, thats your issue, not mine.
As for the callers - when they come they will be welcome. If they talk utter arse and threaten to derail the show or I cant have fun with them in a meaningful way I press a button and they are gone.
Anyway, there is content, just not all of it is ready yet. These things take time to pull together and execute properly. Establish a listener base who knows your name (good or bad) and you got material to work with. My shows are heavy on listener participation, and as such you gotta introduce yourself to them first, get them to play along second.
Like the show or not, there are other presenters, other themes, different content from all the presenters here. Take your pick and I hope you're happy with your selection.
