Some news flashes for all you discussing curse and stain.
Curse alliance
Yes it does excist and yes there is more then 1 alliance in curse but thats nothing new you all probably know or heard off it. And yes some corps are fighting STAIN along with SINISTER. But not all of the corps are doing that. Some of them are waiting what the future brings when either Curse or Stain drops out. And also some corporations are leaving Curse because the region isnt safe to stay in anymore. And they dont like the idea of living next door of pirates. Or the idea off having a war against STAIN.
My point to all this is that i saw some people posting messages on the forums giving some corporations bad names. And some off those corporations did not even do anything yet. So towards those people before you post anything on the forums look first if youre info is right. Or are you just trying to screw up the game for all those living and working in CURSE.
News flashes and something to think about
(1)Who fired the first shot---> The fellow who did it and the victim probably only know that iff they are smart enough to remember.
(2)Is it STAIN versus CURSE or is it MASS versus SINISTER. Qeustion to think about.
(3)What is sinister going to do iff they win the fight? Are they going to move in to Stain and live there or are they going to sell STAIN to TTI ? Or maybe they are going to turn on to the corporations that helped them and become fulltime pirates again ?
(4) What is STAIN going to do iff they win the fight. Are they going to close down curse also? Hope they get enough people to do so but thats not likely.
Well anyway its all qeustions and speculations and not any answers. Just watch out what rumors youre spreading its likely to become called propaganda and from one lie comes another and thats what the rock keeps rolling and putting lot of good people in a bad daylight.
This character was only made to put this message on the forums. Dont want to put my corp or any other good corp or players living and playing in Curse into danger. But this had to be said. And believe me there are lot of good people in Curse that hoped this didnt have to happen.
So chow chow

Edited by: Temujin Destovai on 23/09/2003 23:24:34 Well our informants gave us pretty concrete information on the alliance and situation in Curse, so we know who is in this "1 alliance" and who isnt. We also know that Sinister has been attacking all people in Curse who are not involved in this alliance, so its not us these "neutral" corps should be afraid of but this alliance which is taking over.
We are not interested in leading a war against various corps, or destroying their reputation by putting them in a boat with pirates. The corps we have listed, were listed for a reason, and that was for being in an alliance with Sinister/RUS who we are hunting. And yes their involvment has been confirmed.

Edited by: dalman on 23/09/2003 23:58:58 Anser to question number 2. It was Stain and Fountain vs Sinister and their friends located outside of Curse. It was MASS and Collective vs Red Corsairs and their friends located inside Curse.
Then these groups made friends(and also got some new friends) and Sinister moved to Curse(yea, I know they were there long ago).
So now it's most of EVE vs Curse.

LMAO. Who couldn't mine in peace earlier? Please give me a name on that corp, except for those working with Red Corsairs.

Most of EVE.. well.. I know what you mean so I wont pick there =P
But I think it would be a heafty move for Fountain to come over to Curse.. including when SA vs CA is dueling quite well; now that we are able to assemble 30 battleships in 5 minutes, we will no longer have the crumbs of the cake.
No - I'm not saying we are 1337 or whatever, I'm just approaching this nicely :)
Fountain aren't stupid.. even though Evolution doesn't help their maturity rating =P (yeah yeah.. my guys rant in local too when we kill.. but not that bad.. ;d)
So even though Fountain has a bunch of people mining for them.. I don't think they want to keep sending fleets of people to Curse.. when its just so far away *sigh*
Anyways, we are having fun with Stain.. its great fun. Hope it doesn't end..
No point to get flamy about this.. I'm enjoying our battles.. this is a PvP game afterall.

Yes, many things did not have to happen. Curse did not have to harbor criminals. The decent non-pirate corporations in Curse are being used as hostage by Sinc and their lackeys.
Why on earth would Stain or Fountain want to take over Curse? We already have everything we need. We in Fountain were perfectly happy living quietly after seeing that the NVA was gaining strength and were on their way to independence.
I find it hard to fathom how people cannot see that the only reason why Curse has become a target for Stain and Fountain is entirely due to the fact that known pirates have decided to base themselves there.
The non-pirate corporations in Curse have misplaced loyalties. Sinc and their lackeys are not out to build any future in Curse, they just came from a failed attack on Fountain, and were unable to withstand our counterattack into their home systems. Now they have fled into Curse, a region far away from Fountain and one which conveniently has other corporations in it knowing that we would hunt them.
Now after their unprovoked attack on Fountain, they claim to have turned over a new leaf and are intent on building a peaceful new future in Curse. Who in their right minds would believe this?
They willingly bought Curse into war. This is their gift to their "allies". And now misplaced loyalties that have deception as their base have gained Sinc and their lackeys willing hostages.
The game that Sinc is playing here is this: we will not attack Sinc because we do not want to involve the non pirate corporations they have now allied with in our war. This now grants them reprieve from our assault, they will finally have time to breathe. But if we do attack them, they will have propaganda material to call us killers of innocents.
Notice how Sinc and all their pirate lackeys have now started doing actions as "The Curse Alliance". They are hoping that by doing this our vermin extermination operations will look like an attack on an Alliance.
Sinc hates us because we see right through them. We know what they are. They cannot fool us by claiming legitimacy. The only thing they can do now is convince the general public that we are like them. "Sinc kills people, hey Evolution kills people too". "Sinc lagamps, hey they lagcamp too" The intent in this is that when everyone else eventually sees them for what they are, they will have dragged us down to their level. The details conveniently left out in these statements are why things are done: Sinc kills people for profit and their own vainglory, we kill people to protect our goals; Sinc lagcamps to get cheap kills, we lagcamp to kill Sinc.
This effort is amateurish at best. And due to their ineptness they hate us even more since we know how poor the strategy is.
If Sinc does want to be numbered among legitimate alliances, it's probably really just because the bugs they've been using are gradually getting fixed, and now they have realized their lack of capability to defend themselves from us.

There was this one time, that I thought about taking someone's entire post, quoting it and saying "thanks for proving my point" but then I realized that it would just help to illustrate his point. I saw ahead of time that it would just show that I couldn't debate because I was defenseless.

Edited by: Civil Deity on 24/09/2003 05:43:05 to me this isn't about territory. Its about shutting up these people who say the same things over and over on 10 different threads day in and day out. These people espically sinister and other pirate organization are hindering the enjoyment of the game to many many people. They have finally ****ed off EV and most of the stain alliance for the last time. The time has come to rid the world of their presence. That is our objective, once sinister is gone, i hope the NCA will form ;) and they will be great friends with stain.
edit: we just hope their reputation from shadowbane doesnt preceed them and they dont hack or cheat the system. Cause being banned from eve would be a shame, my biomass collection would hinder. Civil Deity

Basically all the other old tired, bored alliances threat indicator light up when like-minded people decided to move to Curse and make a home for ourselves. It is human nature to attack what you fear. And, ya'll use the excuse that Sinister is there. Well, I wonder how many ppl hate Evolution as much as Sinister? So they did some piracy, how is that different from what you guys do? Its foolish hypocrites like you that make society such a sham. You guys shouldnt even bother with Eve. You should just train up to be politicians in real life so you can ooze into office like the slugs you are.

I suggest that if you want some 'safe' place to create a base you should talk to TTI :)
They seem tobe trying the same tactics: move (retreat) into an alliance for building up (hiding behind them so you can breathe a second).
To all the non pirates in curse, ask around what happened to the Venal alliance when TTI did that trick to them, it might happen to you to.

Our only choice was to kick Oxymoron out of the corp, he was causing too much organized chaos. First he changed his name to Jumbo Shrimp and things started gettin pretty ugly, and finally turned into a tragic comedy , kinda like these message threads. I'm terribly pleased with the silent cacophony of our enemies.

Civil Deity> How does the game decide where a pilot jumps into a system? When traveling in packs for protection, but you jump into a system in seperate locations, espically when there are bad guys at one of the jump in points. This is a problem, do you think it would be possible to ensure there is only 1 jump in point for every system. Army's already camp jump in points, giving them, the defence, a huge advantage with lag as the offender loads the environment, but having your offencive army jump in split up all over the system, this is kinda upsetting....on a smaller scale, escorting an indy and you jump in at one point and your indy jumps in naked next to pirates.. this is also upsetting...
TomB> yes, the jump-in point is suposed to be at the gate that leads back to the system you came from
Is there a way the small corp not to be involved in this. I was jumping and three BS started firing at me . I almost lost my ship. I will pay a toll or something please if Curse Alliance is good, I pass in peace not wanting your ore or anything that resides in your space. --------------------------
