Miner II's blueprints are still not available for purchase by the general public. Now matter how much qualifying or storylining you do, it's still stinks and it's still damaging CCP's image. This last post qualifying/justifying Techell is the last straw.
There is no more calculated way to **** off the majority of your customer base than to give the appearance of favoritism.
TomB quoted in the last CSM: 'TomB > civil: i let myself die because i wanted that miner out' If you want them out there, put them up for sale like all other major items. Make them 1B isk if you feel it's necessary and let everyone have a chance to earn them evenly.
Devs and CCP staff should NOT have access to play Tranquility as regular players or interact with regular players. It's called a conflict of interest. How can you guarantee you aren't abusing your position? The same people that are invited to CCM's are the same people that attend and win events, events where Dev's have direct impact on when things get released?
This is the worst form of abuse I've seen yet.
How many of your customer base even FEEL like they could have a chance at an event when the mega corps will obviously dominate? So you specifically choose a distribution method that makes the strong stonger. Better yet, choose the strongest, oldest alliance (Stain) as the place for the Jove drops... in their graciousness, they opened Stain, but who's still in the strongest position to make sure those BP's don't leave Stain?
And if t0rfiFrans felt the need to qualify this exact issue, then obviously people are up in arms over it.
'There is no favouritism on the dev part to any special corporation.'....... I don't believe it. The very presence of the Devs in Tranquility means there is NO way CCP can guarantee impartiality. Keep the Devs in Chaos where they belong - fixing bugs and adding functionality.

Sometimes I wonder which is worse... CCP's craptastic patches or the way the Eve Forum Community responds to things.
Maybe it's a tie. --------------- I used to be in the FA. I like cookies. Eve Radio is teh pwn. |

I'm interested in CCP's response primarily. I don't care to be in the news - and I don't post often because I find the forums tiresome. But I do have my limits.
I think direct Dev interaction in Tranquility is a real problem. And the Miner II method of distribution, unlike all other methods, is inherently unequal.

They won't respond to forum postings. Maybe if you convinced (read: bribed) someone who's going to the next CSM chat to ask them for you. But then, I can tell you what the answer will be. It would be very close along the lines of "We created the Scope, and people complained because they thought it wasn't neutral. So we decided to let players write the news, but it seems we can't please everyone. We'll look into cancelling this great idea just like we did the original Scope."
Makes me wonder if I should pull a Molly.
Edit: I fear I may have missed the point, seeing as you don't want to be in the news... Well, you can still try to get someone who's going to the next CSM to ask them about it. --------------- I used to be in the FA. I like cookies. Eve Radio is teh pwn. |

And people are NOT invited to CSM meetings. You apply for a position. Obviously you didn't apply. Ie, you have no excuse to *****.
STFU!!!!!!!!!!!!! TomB is referring to an event, where he played a Jovian. That was advertised in the news and you had your chance to participate yourself. CCP has stated that new tech lvls will not be introduced by adding the BPs to NPC market, but through things like events and agents.
And this new news service is GRREEEAAAT

just because you like the idea doesnt mean the world has too. Ev eryone has the right to question goings on. I mean proof positive that corruption does occur by the way the let the miner II out.. no one can argu that that was questionable. so why is it hard to understand when people question these going ons.
