For All Further information please contact Tadamitsu or Kalessin T'mortu. Recruitment channel SOLST_pub Recruitment Solar Storm is a Corporation of dedicated veteran players, we are members of the Ascendant Frontier and mainly based in Impass.. We are seeking to recruit new and veteran player alike.. What we seek in you: ò Player attitude. Friendly, open and cooperative players, with a warped sense of humour are always welcome.. ò Willingness to brave 0.0 space, namely our main base of operations in Impass, if you lack the necessary experience to cope with 0.0 we have plenty of able and willing members to train you in æWays of the Force'. We're a member of Ascendant Frontier, and have a commitment to maintaining a presence there. We hunt, build, refine, and help defend the region from pirate and enemy alliance incursion. ò PvP. We're primarily a non-PvP corporation, but all members have to acquire at least some level of capability with Battleships, and work toward increased survivability in combat. We do not seek out conflict, but on occasions it comes knocking, at these time we expect all member to pull on their flight suits and SCRAMBLE all available ships in to the combat arena and help defend Corporation and Alliance What we can offer you: ò Corp. A stable Corp. of friendly players dedicated to Corp. and each other, we work together to make a better gaming life for all.. ò Training. We share our knowledge base, practical and technical, everything from skill books, hunting, PvP basics, manufacture, organize skill priorities, run agents. Veteran Players may already know all of this stuff, but we're looking for new players too ò Blueprint. We have an extensive catalogue of Bpo's - ammo, guns, modules, indies, frigates, destroyers, cruisers, Battle Cruiser and Battleships. If you need something building talk to the Industrial Department or become one of its members and help others with there construction needs As all Corps. we have certain rules, well more like guidelines, these are them.. Honour Solar Storm is a corporate citizen in the EVE universe. We expect a certain level of maturity from our members. It doesn't mean you have to be an old fart, but we do expect that members act with dignity and treat other players of EVE with honour and respect. Kicking arse and being polite about it is the solar storm way! "Yes Sir! May I have another?" Duty Duty does not mean slavery. The more ISK, minerals and time you put into solar storm, the more you will get in return. Members are free to choose their own path to glory within Solar Storm, but are encouraged to participate and contribute to the corporation on a regular basis. Additionally, Solar Storm does not condone piracy of any fashion (i.e. ransoming, scamming, etc). You can look like a pirate, even have a pet parrot... but act like a pirate and you will walk the plank. Corporation The more you commit to solar storm, the more we will commit to you - career advancement is a very real opportunity in the Solar Storm Corporation. You are Solar Storm, and Solar Storm is you. Solar Storm is a "community" corporation that operates in symbiosis with its members. The commitment and actions of our members allows us to achieve our corporate goals. We act primarily for the well-being of Solar Storm, which in turn, allows the Corporation to provide for the needs of its members. SINDU the new member empire corp does a really good job of preparing people for the joys of 0.0 life and does go the extra to ensure new members are doing well. I will have all my adv learning skills to 4 (except charisma) soon. Most of my time so far has been mining and hauling. I'd like to learn more about PvP, mishs & agents, industry/BP's, ratting w/o dying etc.. I figured on mining alot for the first few months to get established (and I actually like mining hehe). So my short term goal is to get a Covetor, an Iteron V and a Dominix. The Dominix will be to PvP in. I'm about 30 days away from this. I played another MMO - Asheron's Call 3 years, and loved getting to know fellow clan members, game mechanics, character templates, equipment set-ups, fighting strategy and so on. The way I read it is that each account can bump the thread 1 time per day (not each character on the account). If it indeed means only the thread creater can bump the thread 1 time per day (total of 1 bump per day) then it will simply clutter the forum as we will have to each make our own thread to bump. I would ask that we get a clarification from the leader of the "Mod Squad" on what the bumping policy is. For multiple reasons, making it so only the person who created the thread can bump it is a bad idea.... 1) What if we post information about the corp, we are not bumping we are adding to the thread....but most likely will still fall under the same rule. 2) What if we each create a thread for advertising our corp? Normally this would be covered under the duplicate post rule, however since we can not post to the original I feel that this would be a special case where duplicates would be allowed. 3) What if a new or prospective member posts to the thread? Is that a bump or is that acceptable? If it's acceptable then you opened a loophole whereby we could cross post to other corp's threads faking interest in their corp to bump their thread. The problem is that the spirit of the rule is not enforceable. You can enforce the letter of the rule, but then it's just like having a rule for the sake of having the rule....not to solve a problem.

We take new and old players alike. We don't just throw you in the mix, but we're willing to show you the ropes if need be. You'll get to know everyone in both our empire and our 0.0 corp, and the best part about the way this works is that you get to know a core group of friends that you "grow up" with in Solar Storm. So when it comes time to move in with the big boys, you'll know everyone and have some folks who you're used to playing with already. Drop by SOLST_PUB and say Hi. At least chat with us for a while and see what you think. If there's no one in there, drop one of us an eve-mail. Sometimes it takes us a few minutes to respond....some of us have too many chat windows open. :-)
